Awesome! You should be able to put a whole head of cauliflower into your instant pot, and it will be done in less than 5 minutes. You can then slice it into "steak type slabs", and finish it in the oven for a few minutes with your seasonings. I have done a buffalo cauliflower appetizer that way, using the pampered chef quick cooker.

@@pockethole1900 food trucks are a good start for some businesses, but I think something like a WFPB restaurant would be a brick-and-mortar out of the gate. There's demand there, and it caters to vegans and vegetarians right away too. It's definitely a big market, and definitely expanding and growing exponentially! I guess we need to push Brian into doing a business plan lol

Hi, I've been subscribed a few months now, I find you both inspirational! As a Brit is is great to see you embracing the very British cultural experience of the Panto! Went as a child and took my children but as the youngest has just turned 29 it's been a few years now, you have reminded me you don't have to be a child or take one to enjoy a panto. Also lovely to see you cooking with all ingredients i recognise for once (although not sure why you bought tinned peas, frozen are in every food store). May make a trip to Asda to get the mini cauliflowers, your baked ones looked delish.

Cauliflower steak - cook with good spices in the oven, slice like any plant meat. Cauliflower wings - battered, cooked, hot sauce. Pureed soup - sautee onions, garlic, with celery, carrots if you want, put in the cauliflower, a large chopped potato, vegetable broth, cook until the cauliflower is tender, puree it until smooth. Minestrone soup - cauliflower, courgette/zucchini, tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, white beans, pasta (any kind put in at the end, or leave it out) oregano, basil, salt, pepper. In a salad. Dipped in hummus. Cooked in bite sized pieces until just tender (steamed or boiled in a small amount of water) and eaten with vegan meatballs or beans with tomato sauce on top. Roasted in the oven with any other vegetables you have - carrots, beets, sweet potato, potato, anything - seasoned however you like. Cooked then add soy sauce or tamari sauce or liquid aminos with maybe garlic, ginger, miso, whatever you like. When raw, cover in tahini and chili sauce, then cook until its done (that's a great combination to out on diced tofu, then cook it, too). As a side dish to a sandwich or tofu or anything. As a snack.

Great video. Thankfully I can find those ingredients easily! What did Brian do with the broth mix? It always makes the soup thick and delicious. When you convert the recipes for your US viewers I will have to improvise but it always turns out great. I’m always shocked at the size of the veg in the US and love shopping at Publix. I’m very lucky because my best friend has a condo on a tennis resort in Naples. Great to see Martin joining you. I can’t wait to see what you thought of the pantomime! Thanks as always for sharing your adventure.

It all looked great! Those baby caulis were so adorable. I also want to know what you did to the peas! Will they let you bring jarred Spices back into USA?
@KellyS_775 жыл бұрын
Generally speaking, yes you can bring back spices of all sorts. The only thing USA customs is usually worried about are fresh fruits, vegetables, meats of any kind, and seeds (because of invasive species). You might also run into problems if they think you’re bringing back a commercial quantity of a food product, and intending to resell it. Generally though, small individual/family sized amounts of herbs and spices are allowed through without issue.

Martin is correct about the food on sets - for the most part. It depends on who's funding it. Sometimes it's good. Sometimes it's abundant and there's something to be found. Other times you can ask someone to bring something for you, so then it's better.

I would love it if you could post the original recipe (UK version) and US version pretty please 🙏 I am in Ireland, I love your channel but can't always find ingredients. I spend a long time googling and recreating ingredients before I can even start trying your gorgeous food. We have the same supermarkets/products (in general) over here as the UK does and I'm also close to the border and can pop up to Northern Ireland to Asda if needed (depending on Brexit of course 😣) so it would be fantastic to just get the ingredients and make those AMAZING looking dishes x I realise your channel base audience is American but that's not all the people who love you both 💖
