I saw him twice in different airports over the years, then I saw him again at Orlando Intl' Airport on Christmas a couple years ago. I had to speak to him then. We talked in the terminal for 45 mins. To go from Korn being my favorite band as a kid, so having a full convo with him about Christ as an adult, in the middle of an airport terminal was a full circle moment. He's the most humble dude you'll ever meet. Thanks Brian for the talk! I hope we cross paths again.

All the evil and wrongs in this life cannot compare to the love coming from the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. All the evil will end. Satan will pay for his many sins. Knowing Christ is eternal life. Everyday let’s all come to know Him better and when we see Him say “Well done” I promise any hardship won’t compare. I've always heard not to rely on "experience" to determine if God is real because it's about faith. But Paul makes the point to always give a reason for your faith. The book of Hebrews isn't "just about faith." It's evidence of this faith. Brian's experience is evidence of this. My own experience is the same. I understand also the judgemental perspective. People who have dealt with pain the most don't live the life "church people" live. We are more in tune with the world because we get the pain. It's not fake and empathy plays a deep part. There's a very real fakeness within the church today and I have come to distrust most of it. My own story is about suicide, depression, rage, real homicidal thoughts, etc. The past is deeply dark but when you finally have that moment of surrender, when you are on the other side and know beyond a shadow of doubt you aren't the one who saved you from yourself but a supernatural act of God did this, the world is never the same. I have elements in my testimony that won't ever fly in a church so I seldom speak about it. "Church people" are deeply hypocritical if you don't follow this tradition or that tradition that frames a denomination. I look at my bible however and know who God is, that He is love and is the only one that matters. I share my own story outside of church to those who want to know if God is real, if He is trust worthy and I always end with this thought. "I know two things. 1 - If I had not cried out to God, I would either be in prison for life or more likely, dead. That is a fact. 2 - My experience, my world after switching loyalties from darkness to Jesus, nothing is the same as it was. This is a testimony of Jesus' love, not me. I don't care what people think anymore. Like Brian, my world has been altered and whether or not church people like my story, who cares? My life is meant to be shared with those who don't know God. That is the world I want to interact with and love.
