A couple of decades after Brian and I played one mirror match in Mountainview California we finally got to meet in person and play again at GP Vegas. I'm really looking forward to getting to know Brian better, he's truly an Amazing person!

Hey Everybody. Of course it's completely valid to dislike a video and leave a thumbs down... but for the 4 people whom did leave a thumbs down I would really appreciate a few short comments about why you are leaving thumbs down. Hello Mr. Edwin! If I had to surmise why, it’s probably just the same reasons as any. Group A believes Group B is responsible for old cards being expensive, when Group A never owned or planned on owning those cards ever to begin with. Like you said before, we are solely responsible for old cards drying up, Group A fails to realize we will pay hard cash for these cards, they just hate because they cannot and blame nefarious investors. No worries bro, keep up awesomeness, yet figured maybe I’d help alleviate some frustration cuz they won’t answer.

Hi Edwin, Just wanted to say that you are my favorite oldschool magic youtuber. Pound per pound, you deliver the most substantive content, at least in terms of strategy, deck tech, and community coverage. Once I get a web cam, I hope to one day play a match against you.At the moment I am gripped by Titania's Song. I don't think I will ever be able to develop a Tier 1 deck that revolves around it, but when it goes off, it makes for some really fun games. Nothing like beating your opponent senseless w/ an army of Fellwar Stones : )

Hey R A, This was a specific build for the Meta that I was expecting to see. Unstable Mutation and Berserk are definitely NOT permanently out of the deck. They are still a solid game plan for this build when the Meta is correct for them. You will likely see those cards re-enter this deck in the future :) I would love to play as well, but I would prefer a video game over Skype or Appear.in :)

You were not playing the turbo stasis deck? Please stream more video with it! I'm also wondering why eveyone is playing the winter mishra's factory ?

Hey Nicolas, Yes, no Turbo Stasis deck at GP Vegas Championship for me. My best guess was that at least half the Meta would be playing "The Deck" and the modern Old School builds of The Deck are playing 4x Disenchant, 4x Counterspell, 1x Mana Drain, and even 1-2x Red Elemental Blast main deck! It's honestly like that deck is pre-sideboarded against Turbo Stasis which makes for a VERY tough match up. In my solo-play style testing... It became apparent that RUG Crazies had a better win ratio against this Meta. Since I felt it was more important to put up a solid performance than just show up my token build... I went with RUG Crazies. Everybody plays Winter Factories just for bling factor because they are now going for north of $700 each.
