To all those saying he looks like he’s on drugs for touching his ears: he is nervous and if anything that proves he’s off the drugs. Drugs probably would have kept him calm etc in situations like this, but he seems a little on edge. Paranoia and anxiety becomes worse after you quit and he hasn’t performed in about 2 years. Imagine going silent in the public eye for 2 years, completely changing the way you look and sound and then going in completely confident in your first interview/performance? He is human ya know

Oh, if people are saying he looks drugged, then they should know he isn't! He's 💯% sober. His type of nervousness is social anxiety in respect to who he's speaking to and he is also a little depressed, but like he said, what makes him happy is an audience who loves his music. It's his only way of relating - by finding those who understand or desire to understand him. He responded very genuinely in the interview, his reactions were realistic to his answers. He doesn't look like he takes drugs. He might have taken sedatives though, depressers. He looks like a really good guy.

But this band can make any music and make it great in my opinion. I'd love a Collab with Depeche mode. It would really mix well. They're a dark synth band and want to be more rock on some albums. That would make my year. ❤️ Thanx again BMTH ❤️ can't wait to see you live again ❤️❤️ from Yorkshire caz 😁❤️❤️

You know what I hate , people everywhere on bmth videos and interviews saying I think Oli is back to using drugs, first off they all look much healthier and better then before , him touching his ear too much could be just a little coping habit at that time , he seemed cheerful and happy and talkative in a good way but also nervous of course because of the album, and it doesn’t matter how much people hate the new music and bash on the change you don’t disrespect someone like that when they once made music that helped you out when you were going through tough and bad times or just needed a release and escapism to music You don’t disrespect any human being in real life saying oh shit I think they are on drugs again or bmth is dead 💀 r.i.p Oli Sykes If you don’t like the new route or don’t support the band anymore don’t hate and say things for a band who once meant a lot to you and can still mean a lot to people regardless of the change I hate pop music and they are still no where near comparison of that They still have meaningful lyrics Awesome music videos And cool music live or interviews to tell you the stories behind the music if people actually cared enough to look at them instead of judging right away and hating For example The oh so hated Medicine song is meant to be lighter then wonderful life and mantra because it’s based like all of the songs on Olis experience with marriage , going through divorce And how love can be amazing but also incredibly devastating heartache that can tear someone apart There is a lot of meaning to this album To help others going through that and for Oli expressing how it was Medicine is lighter because he doesn’t want it to be to hateful too aggressive or harder because of what it symbolizes and what it means to him and his ex and now new wife who speaks Portuguese and inspired “Amo” which means love in her language There’s actually a lot of interesting stuff to explain the change and how human Oli and everyone in the band is Ask yourself if it was you would you keep making the same music knowing it doesn’t describe you anymore or challenge you to do something different Or keep doing the same stuff just to please everyone around you and not upset fans This isn’t just a famous band It’s actual real life people who aren’t just targets for people behind screens to hate on constantly and put down You may not be happy that’s okay But still remember when you bash on them what it would be like being at the other receiving end bmth may not be screamo or a deathcore band anymore but they are still hardrock and experimenting in cool ways

U are stupid, he's BMTH, maybe 60 % of whole BMTH idea and the reason of that band existent, do u think create all lyrics, vocal style and theme of every BMTH' songs its easy ? all that music without Oli part is nothing, one of the reason BMTH still exist nowdays because oli capability to make every BMTH'songs become catchy as fuck in terms of catchy n cool lyrics and his vocal style not just the music, CAN U IMAGINE bmths music without oli ?, from metalcore, deathcore, hardcore and even poprock become easy to listen like general pop song, look at another bunch of deathcore, metalcore band from their glory era in 2005 -2010... where the hell are they ? BMTH STILL EXIST THO
