This year, to buy a 30 second spot during the SuperBowl, it was $7Million. It's crazy. The Tide (clothes detergent) ads are take-offs of other famous ads, like a car commercial, or the Old Spice guy on the horse. Subliminally making them ALL Tide ads. Funny concept, well executed.

Betty White is a fucking LEGEND. Or as we say here, "A National Treasure". She was known for The Golden Girls show in the 80s and her absolutely wicked sense of humor. That's probably why she lived until she was almost 100 - she was about 2 weeks away from her 100th birthday when she passed. She is one we used to say needed to be "protected at all costs."

Superbowl commercials are a whole big “thing” here! Like you said, you never know what you’re going to see next. Advertisers strive to air commercials that will stand out from the rest, will get people talking and will be remembered. So the commercials are always super-something: crazy, funny, heartwarming, provocative, visually remarkable or just plain dumb (but in a hilarious way). Also, lots of people love the Super Bowl commercials so much that they take their restroom and snack refill breaks during play time rather than miss the commercials.

All I can say about Tide laundry detergent is they pissed me off one spring. Spent weeks staining a costume for authenticity for a Renaissance faire I was working in, took a couple of months. Did not realize until I was about a month in that every time I washed it, the stains I labored to look 'just right' were fading away. Had to re-stain the damn costume every week during the weeks we were performing. It truly is the best detergent I have ever used. Took out all the stains: motor oil, coffee, blueberry, etc.

I haven’t checked recently. We will keep boycotting. Same with many movies, the Grammies , budweiser, cancelling paid tv bc woke agenda, appropriating White history movies, trannies, etc. Nike stand down to the flag. It continues. Hollyweird is massively losing. That includes the clans ownersip of sports, advertising and all media. I highly doubt they are paying 7 million now. I’ll have to check.

07:53 I'm going with John Hodgman, anyone concur? They have this stuff down to science, literally. It doesn't matter what the product is or how it lines up with the commercial. The idea is to make them memorable, usually funny, sometimes tear jerking. This one has memes that would be fun to keep repeating like at work. It gets stuck in your head and maybe you will remember the product. ''I saw Bigfoot once, wait am I getting it wrong. Paul Bunyan?''

Bridgestone is a tire company. In his haste to keep anyone from seeing the email, he got in his car and drove like a maniac from one person to the next. He didnt lose control and crash because he had good tires....presumably, Bridgestone tires.

My favorite isn’t a funny one. It’s for Jaguar cars and has British actors who play villains. I loved it. So badass.
