Our dad passed in 2017. From the time we could hold a polishing rag and shoe brush he allowed us to help polish his boots before weekend maneuvers. He left Army and went to Nat’l Guard. Taught us the art of the spit shine. As we got older the task became a job before the weekend. I cannot tell you how many times we had to redo those boots. Of course that was the lesson in doing a job right the first time or keep doing it until it’s done right. Before visitation baby sister refused anyone touching those boots. She shined them for hours that night.

Theres something so entertaining about watching non americans listen to country music. Especailly since im from the south and grew up listening to these artists on the daily. Watching you gush over the artist and their work makes me appreaciate my southern hick life more. Also if you want a beautiful, well crafted story that'll bring a tear to your eye. I was lucky enough to see Toby in concert about 4 times and other than Courtesy of The Red White and Blue, this song had the WHOLE place singing together and laughing... I always saw him in 1 venue here in Indiana and it holds 25,000 people.... I will never forget it :)

As you have learned, Toby has a ton of fun music. He has an amazing duet with Willie Nelson called 'Beer for my horses' & it's like a movie. HIghly recommend. For other funny ones, try 'Trailerhood', 'I wanna talk about me' Who's your daddy?', Red solo cup', and on & on. He also can do a 'serious' song that is only funny in the video, where he always puts a humorous twist, like he did in 'You shouldn't kiss me like this', 'It's a little too late' or 'Whiskey girl'. And for an absolutely beautiful song & video, but also a totally serious song, check out 'Cryin' for me' Waymans' song. He wrote it in tribute to his dear friend who passed from Cancer. It's lyrics describing his feeling for Wayman, perfectly describe how we are all feeling about Toby today.
