I will help you guys out with some you might not understand #47 was Carmelo Anthony hitting threes from the same spot with less than 15 seconds to go in both regulation and overtime. #44 was Reggie Miller scoring 8 points in 9 seconds to beat the Knicks in the 1995 ECSF #39 was Klay Thompson scoring 60 points in three quarters while dribbling the ball ELEVEN TIMES the whole game. #37 is Kevin Durant hitting a 3 to help the Warriors go up 3-0 in the finals, ironically Durant would hit a similar shot vs the cavs in game 3 of the finals the next year. #36 was in the waning seconds of game 7 of the WCF, helped the lakers move on to the finals. #35 was Dirk Nowitzki hitting a game winner to tie the finals vs the Heat at 1 game apiece in a crazy comeback. #29 was a game winner by Derek fisher with only .4 seconds left in game 5 of the WCSF. #26 was in overtime of game 1 of the finals, more famous for AI stepping over Ty Lue more than the shot itself, which was still clutch. #20 is Lebron scoring the last 27 points for the Cavs in regulation and overtime in game 5 of the ECF #18 is Kobe Bryant scoring 60 points in his farewell game #15 is Steph setting the all time 3 pointers made record #13 is a clutch block in game 5 of the NBA finals by Giannis to help the Bucks win the chip. #11 is Magic Johnson’s game winning skyhook vs the Celtics in game 4 of the Finals. #6 is haunting as a sixers fan but it is Kawhi’s quadruple bounce game winner vs us in game 7 of the second round of 2019. The Raptors went on to win the finals so this might have saved their season #5 and #3 are the same game, Kyrie’s game winner and Lebron’s block in game 7 of the finals. #4 tied game 6 of the NBA finals and the Heat would win this game in overtime as well as game 7 to win the championship #1 is Tracy McGrady scoring 13 points in 33 seconds to win the game, highly recommend a watch on this, it is truly amazing.

What I love about the Kobe final game one (#18), when Kobe starts his free throw, Gordon Hayward steps into the lane so if it misses, it would be a lane violation and Kobe would get another shot at it. Nice bit of sportsmanship there.

The Dr. J "rock the baby" dunk is just super iconic. When you say Dr J, most people will think of that play, mainly due to Dr J dominating the ABA before it merged with the NBA, so he gets discredited even though the ABA was just as talented at the time.

Kobe’s 81 point game is the second most ever in a single game. The record is held by Wilt Chamberlain who scored 100!!! This way back when, but Wilt was one of the most dominant basketball players and best athletes ever.
@waffles824
@waffles824 9 ай бұрын
but more context, Wilt played in an era when 130 point games were normal, Kobe's era had far more defense, games averaged in the 90's per game. Wilt scored 100 of a total score of 169= 59% Kobe scored 81 of a total score of 122= 66% Wilt also got 32 free throw attempts to kobe only having 20 free throws. Wilt's 59% in a game of 122 points would of been 72 points...and he likely would have not been anywhere near 59% against the early 2k's better defense.

This reminded me. You two should definitely look into highlights of prime Shawn Kemp. he played for the Seattle Supersonics (RIP) in the 90's. He was electrifyingly athletic. Actually it might be worth it to look into those Seattle teams. They are the team with the highest single-season steal total ever, i think they might actually have the two best single-season steal totals ever. Super fun team to watch.

I remember watching the Jordan crossover player vs Utah live and not finding it the least bit exciting whatsoever. Everyone knew what was going to happen in the game and the series. He hit a wide open jumper, whoopdee frickin doo. I saw Jordan make dozens of more exciting game winners than that one. Now if Scottie Pippen had hit a game winner for once in his life that would have been something nobody would have expected.

Absurdly bad top 50. Stockton won a series on a buzzer beater 3 to go to the finals and it's not listed here. It took like 20-25 years for somebody (Lillard) to hit a game winning series ender and that was in the 1st or 2nd round, not to enter the finals.
