Wie immer: Eine wundervolle Arbeit. In der heutigen Zeit, wo alles weggeschmissen wird wenn es nicht mehr funktioniert, sind restaurationen wie deine ein Segen. Es müsste im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit eigentlich in allen Bereich viel mehr gemacht werden, was die Wiederaufbereitung anbelangt.

When I started whatching this guys videos he was using genuine tools, just knives and forks 😅😅. But now he has a full equiped modern shop. I‘ll keep an eye on him when he launches his own watch brand, I will buy one. May I suggest the name for the brand; „Socks“

Interesting to see the specialized tools. That one for holding the caseback for polishing is a great idea. It’d be hard to hold by hand. Though it does look like it could be a movie prop. “Tell me the codes, Mr. Bond, or I will use the Expander on you! [evil laughter]”

There was a moment early on in the video when you were disassembling the watch and you were removing parts but springs were still moving. It reminded me of when the Japanese I think it is, cut up live fish for a customer and the disembodied fish is still moving when parts of it are being served. Good to see the socks are back as appalling as they have always been. 🙂

Excellent work on a very nice watch. How can they destroy something like this? It's very sad. I love when you re-gold the case. There is a time machine again, but I see your hand is a bit damaged. Sorry for my bad english but I liked these because I haven't seen the tools yet: Back panel removal machine's new design, main gear puller tool, tube presser, new back panel polisher. Toll zu sehen, wie die einzelnen Schritte sind, genauso gut wie bei Marshall, dessen Videos ich wegen der guten Erklärung mag. Ich habe mich -mit einfachen Mitteln- jetzt mal an eine alte Dugena herangewagt... mal sehn, ob ich sie wieder zusammen bekomme. Üben, üben ist angesagt.

I'm always amazed to see that when you remove the balance you just let it hang from the balance spring. I would be afraid that would somehow damage the balance spring, but I guess it doesn't.
