I think it's more because they have a more specialized type of magic that's hard to tap into and not displayed day to day. With unicorns, there's a physical channel so really easy to access. With pegasi, physical channel (their wings) their magic is used every day to fly. With earth ponies, they have strength which isn't used every single day. Even then, it's more limited and in smaller amounts in my theory. Just hard to access from the outside without that physical channel.

I was introduced to this show as a sophomore in High School. There was an English project where we had to make a persuasive presentation. One kid made a presentation about Why you should be a Brony...I thought he was crazy and me and my friends made fun of him. I felt so bad so I apologized to him and he was pretty cool. He said that he respects my decision on not being a Brony but I should watch it with an open mind. I didn't but a year later I spotted one of my friends watching a pretty epic dragon riding on a purple pony. I asked him what it was and he told me about Spike. That led me to curiosity so I watched an episode...or a part of an episode because I stopped after the theme song. Finally I was a senior and I caught my brother watching MLP. I laughed at him and he said "Yeah, I'm a Brony...gotta problem with that". I said yes but I watched it with him. Then I started watching the first season but to make fun of it. Then I started getting to know the characters but it wasn't until Best Night Ever that I really started to enjoy it. Everything was leading to that moment and it was pulled off beautifully. I enjoyed it so much, Every episode is important in a way. I loved the characters...love the music...there wasn't anything that I didn't like about it. Now I LOVE MLP

1. The season 4 finale exceeded my expectations. Beautiful music, excellent portrayal of a classic villain, and one of the most badass fight scenes I've ever seen in animation. Not quite as epic as Aang vs Ozai, but awesome all the same. 2. I'm glad to see everyone participated in this reaction vid. It's nice to know that even if some of the bigwigs lose interest in the fandom or go dormant for a while that the show can bring them back for a bit. 3. In regards to the comment section; If people you don't know are insulting you, then their insults are automatically baseless. It's impossible to properly judge a human being before witnessing his actions or understanding his motivations. In short, ignore the haters because they don't know a damn thing about you. The only person you need to prove yourself to is the one standing in the mirror.
