One of the great forgotten voices of the ‘60’s with 50 chart hits. Like many artists popular before 1964, he struggled once the Brits hit. One more million seller before the decade was over with “Rainy Night In Georgia” People forget he wrote or co-wrote many of his hits. He wrote “Endlessly” for Nat Cole until his manager persuaded him to record it himself.

Oh my. The follow-up single to his million selling smash, "It's Just A Matter Of Time". This beautiful song made it to #12 just about the time he performed it on Sullivan and he was just getting started with his remarkable career.

Who is better than MR BROOK BENTON, HE WAS SOMETHING ELSE, HE HAD THE FULL PACKAGE IN THE FIELD OF ENTERTAINMENT, WHAT A SINGER LOW OR HIGH NOTES WAS NEVER A PROBLEM, THE BLACKSTONES

Broik Benton had an impeccable voice and classy demeanor. One of the great artists of his time. If you were invited to the Ed Sullivan show, it means you had arrived. Brook Benton had it all. Blessings, Mr. Benton.

if unaware of the 1960 album,by this man;with also DINAH WASHINGTON,titled THE TWO OF US,it can also be found now on cd,with added tracks by dinah,orignal lp 12 tracks in all.
