What would you say would be better to start learning 3d motion graphics on, Blender or C4D?

That is a tough one to answer. Blender is free and has a much larger selection of YT videos. For now, there aren't as many jobs using it though. So it depends what you are trying to accomplish.

@@byAxiom Yeah maybe in a few years down the line but Blender isn't industry standard as of right now (still a blast to learn tho)

blender nearly became an industry standard to make concept art, but still I'd stick with c4d for motion graphics.

@@byAxiom I had a private zoom callat my company with Nick Campbell and he clearly said Blender is the future over C4D. C4D has a big legacy but Geometry nodes has been a huge shift in how to approach procedural design.
