Jason ,, live that way cause it is truth, unfortunately, many folks take what they hear or read, for gospel ,, well what you read and what you hear is their experience ,,, correct ? i'd rather make up my own mind .. folloow yer heart friend , this year could be huge for you , trust your gut
@Jason-wc3fh5 жыл бұрын
He's right. Just look at what the Emerald ash borer has done to ash trees. Killed them off completely just by chewing holes around the outter layers without ever going anywhere near deep into the tree. Cuts off all the circulation of the tree. The tree just dies off instantly with no nutrient flow.

Great video Billy Ray. You are right about knowledge, you must "do" and experience before you can tell others how to do and you need to listen, especially to the older guys who have done, more than you talk. Loving' the "3D" shot of the chips flying out of the 266.

I have a eith1961 or 62 1-43, 1970ish powermac6 and 2 1983 eagerbeaver 2.0s and they all run as good as new models but the 1-43 is a slow revving fairly fast cutting tractor and the powermac 6 doesn't like to idle but I am at the point of restoring all my classic saws and stop using the newer automatic oilers. I tend to forget to pump the bar oil sometimes after running my newer saws. Love the video. Thanks

I hear ya when ya talk of the 125's, they along with the 100's were very popular engines in 1970's kart racing and they performed so well with good carbs, around here on the east, many used Mikunis off of motorcycles, along with hot porting jobs and tuned pipes, boy were they FAST little karts. ~Chris~

The boat sway followed by the even touch up finished with the correct raker gauge made all the differance for me. I used to be Mr Micrometer stressing about complete nonsense when chain filing with all sorts of filing tools that were a waste of cash. Now its a quick top up and we good to go for the next round - all you need is a round file - a raker gauge and the correct technique. Got all that right here on Buckin Billy Ray Smith so pull up a stump folks and listen to what the man says - hes been doing it long enough. Give it a try and see for yourself. I file my chains right down to the marker line and they cut like a hot knife through butter.

My theory is that the shorter tooth lets it evacuate the chips better. So it's going to cut better, plus it's less rotating mass so it's will split up faster.
