I never thought to use poly fill in trees but I am definitely giving it a try. Looks like the clump foliage clings to it really well. Great video as always!

Yeah it sticks really well, just remember to give it a spray of some matt varnish to hold it all together and to help remove the tackiness from the spray adhesive. Actually using matt varnish spray on older trees can also help bring them back to life if they start to look dull from dust.

I know it may not seem like the style of diorama you would be interested in, but I think there is a profound beauty to a trashy underpass diorama, like with a tipped over shopping cart and stuff like that. It would be especially cool to see dried tall grass growing through gravel ballast on the hillsides. I think it would be challenging as well.

Luke, I'm glad you've been experimenting with a more diverse variety of content, but I gotta be honest... I miss your older scenic outdoor dioramas. For the last several months, when I see a new video in my subscription feed, I usually just end up going back and watching an old one instead. I’ve found that curing for too long warps the resin. Also if you’ve exposed it to light before you prime then can also cause the warping. Just something that I’ve found. Loving this build

Thanks for the tips 😉 I have done a few experiments with curing, I found that curing for less time results in less warping initially but over a month or two it tends to warp anyway... That was unpainted resin though, I wonder if slightly less cure time would be ok if the part was painted not long after... Hmmm Might have another experiment to try 😅 Warping is one of those hassles and any tips I can get are very welcome. Thank you 😉

@@BoulderCreekRailroad I’m still a novice when it comes to resin prints, but the general rule is, cure for max 1 min and prime as quickly as you can. If not, store in a box or container where no UV can get to the model and then prime. I’ve followed this recently and it’s stopped my warping.
