I've built several custom karts myself. The chassis and especially the tire size on this kart will support MUCH more powerful engines. That engine will be totally underpowered. How 'bout a 250cc or even bigger MX two stroke for the future?

@@Mad.Man.Marine for a team that added a push start and a turbo kit that actually works and gave the go cart more power sure seems like they don't know what they're doing right ? Guy still had to crank start this cart every time .

I think it would be pretty easy to copy that design with a tubing bender and a saw, just from memory. Just make it one of a kind, to fit you. Then jump up and down on it to get your cg nice and low... Then finish welding lol.

Do you weld with flux core wire im looking to build a mini buggy with full independent suspension and that all I have and wasn't sure if it would be strong enough. Also do you know where I could look for a 600cc engine or larger for a decent price
@skydrive21776 жыл бұрын
N1ck0145 Garage I just went through this. Don't look for just the engine. Finding a complete bike will be cheaper. I just bought a 636 kawi for $1000. It has damage on both side and front end, but I don't need any of that stuff. The engine alone usually goes for$12-1500 on eBay and most of the time it won't come with the wiring harness, intake, exhaust, ECU, etc etc. Crashedtoys.com is a good place to look if you're close to the Minneapolis St Paul or Dallas areas.
@alextreseder62746 жыл бұрын
Flux core produces weldes that are typically just as strong as other methods, it just requires more work to make it look nice due all the spatter and soot. For that reason people say fluxcore is lower quality but it is definitely strong enough for a buggy frame
@alextreseder62746 жыл бұрын
Look on let go and craiglist for engines, i got a 750 honda engine for 200 bucks and got it running fine with another 100
@BensMis-adventures6 жыл бұрын
Hey bud, when you buy your flux core wire you'll see a number like "E71T" on the box, the 7 means it has a minimum tensile strength of 70ksi, and is the same 7 as used in ER70S in solid wire and E7018 in stick welding electrodes. All the consumables give the same tensile strength providing the welder has done their part.

Crazy how all these videos say they're gunna leave a link to all the parts they use but every single one of you guys have failed to mention the rear sprocket...like that's probably one of the first things you have to figure out in order for this build to work yet none wants to share how they get the small rear sprocket nonetheless how they make it compatible with the stock 14T front sprocket...

@alextreseder62746 жыл бұрын
tony 12083 that build was stupid it looks dumb and its slow they should have used a street bike motor. Also, fuck CaC
@anthonylyrette73996 жыл бұрын
A Tre its you opinion i like the rat rod wagon from car and camera i think it look cool and maybe its not the fastest go kart on heart but it look awesome for me and maybe the 670 dragster is slow and I am agree with you for that but the go kart with the 670 is very fast and the engine is stock and go at 40 mph very fast this engine on a go kart with a good gear can easy go to 80 mph no problem imagine with mod
