Well it’s been a week since my ankle surgery and you’ve kept me occupied with being stuck at home living and sleeping in a chair cos I cant use the stairs for next 6 weeks. I’ve watched every single episode and read 98% of the comments, couldn’t be bothered with the rude ones. I wonder why if you can’t say anything nice, you bother to leave a crap comment. Just jog( wish I could!!) on and leave the rest of us to enjoy the cabin building. Ive loved seeing the journey and this quick episode, never knew him but miss Ben!😔 See if you could get the lady to paint/add him in your Christmas pressie I think it would be fitting. That half hour is well spent good watch that must of taken hours to edit. Possibly days is more like it. I liked how it shows how motivated you kids are to having that cabin in the woods where a person could run naked through the trees was it not for nats, deerflys, horseflys, misquotes, and me peeking through the trees. I am loving these and look forwards to the garage build getting finished. A small mother in law apartment in a loft that is too small to stand or turn around/lol. They must know by now we only put up with them incase of a large inheritance!!! I kids you on that one... we do love them, only they can be a nuisance for certain. My mother in law steps in our small cabin, I had just got out of the shower and wanted coffee so she sees me in the birthday suit... she smiles and says; I see why she married you!! I think she was just trying to make me feel good but it worked for me. Wishing a great year 23 as its the only 23 we will ever see for sure, if I live as long as some bible characters, I sure would of stayed on a diet as lugging this pot belly around for more than say eighty years...... wow..... just thinking when I was a kid and life expectancy was early sixties.. as most men died after their mid forties and those who made their fifties were considered on their way out. Love ya's

Wow, Jay & Jen you worked hard and built a beautiful home. Seeing the camping area w the green grass was beautiful. We had a sled like that we pulled behind our snowmobiles. Watching this makes me miss Michigan so much. I wish my bones could handle the winters. I just may have to buy some land again. Michigan April through November and 5 months warmer. Lol. Great job.

Well, neither of you have aged at all, except that you actually both look healthier NOW. You are living right! I never watched all the way back to the start, so it is really impressive to see all the challenges and the absolute determination.....even when you appeared to be only hanging on with your finger tips (Jay, don't do that with the ladder again-LOL) Who is the older, distinguished dog? He would be a great subject for a portrait (if you would want one). It was a crazy journey for sure my friend. Old man Benjamin was our pup before Timber came around....the original you could say. So full of love and loyal the end. He enjoyed his time at the property but we lost him about a year and half ago.
