What I really enjoyed about this is how Aman allowed himself to lose, he didn’t go into GM bullet mode, he allowed the loss as the viewers can learn more from that and analyse the game.

In professional education, we call what you’re doing in this series “scaffolding,” as in, layering basic knowledge while adding new advanced ideas over that. I can't express how glad I am to have this video. It's a little overwhelming coming into chess, with so many openings to learn and figure out. I was stuck in the mid 500s and literally in 3 days I'm at 675. Can feel myself actively improving and learning variations and how to respond. This series is great.

This series is actually so clutch. I am ~ 800 ELO. I started playing Chess again a few months ago, I pretty much just meme the Scholar's opening looking for a quick win. I watched the first 3 videos thru here. Played my first game. 96.7 win accuracy. So simple yet so effective rules. Actually makes me want to try and get better than just the cheap wins.

Man this video is so incredibly helpful. After making a bunch of stupid blunders and losing games I found myself at 399 elo. I managed to get back up to about 450 on my own, but after watching the first couple of series over the last 3 days I’m up to 563 and have won the past 7 games in a row.

Love this series. The idea of developing general habits is brilliant, and exactly what I've been looking for. Usually others just say "Memorize these lines and openings" but in real play, I find that my games never follow those memorized lines, and it seems like a waste of effort. One thing I'm wondering is what does it mean to develop aggressively? Does that just mean in the center?

This course is amazing. After watching the first three videos I tried playing and I made slightly more blunders but, unlike before, I win and understand my errors. And that's because now I always know what to do instead of losing half my time on every move, therefore I'm always up on time and can think of the right move until the end while usually the other player is playing random moves with 5 seconds on the clock. Manage my time was my biggest problem now I'm easily winning 5 Min blitz
