At 1:21 you started talking about the stripped upper but you were also naming parts on the full rifle. Can you clarify which parts are on which upper? Is the top upper your 5.56? You didn’t state that and you weren’t very clear and talk really fast. Then you have all these other accessories at the top of the table. Are they props? Nice gun but you’re really confusing. Lol

Cast your own cost: Alloy $2.50 pound 230gr 30per pound Gas checks $40 thousand Lube or paint Primers $110 thousand Powder $400 pound These include taxes and shipping and hazmat. $330.00 per thousand without brass. Add $440.00 for brass. Total $770.00 per thousand if you have the $3,000.00 in equipment. The reloading saved brass is the only way to "save" money. You will need to reload about 5,000 rounds to break even. My advice??? Get a Dillon 550. RCBS dies and trimmer. Lyman bullet molds with RCBS handles. Lyman sizer and lube. H335 powder CCI 450 primers. .09+.04+.02+.11+.08=.33 per round

That's a nice little system you have set up there. The .22 lr & 5.56 with the detachable components seems like a winner. I might personally run a 6.5 Grendel 18" upper for longer range, although a quiet .30 cal is nice too. Man, too many decisions to make haha.

If you were not going to use back up sights. I think the easiest way to get around it would have been to go with an optic like the Vortex Spitfire and you would have an etched retical.

.308 is the way to go for supersonic and punch and long distance accuracy, just ask gunny hathcock. Blackout is for quiet up close and personal. 5.56 is medium range light fast and accurate, Therefore, country boys gun is appropriate and correct. Good job! And WANT!

I haven't owned a weapon, in about 7 years. But I miss hunting and target shoots. Forgive my lack of knowledge, as I've never owned a 300 blackout or any ar. Question As seen here, hes using 8" barrel with suppression, with subsonic rnds, for closer targets. Could a mag of supersonic rounds be used, or is a barrel and gas tube swap necessary, for longer range, on the move?

You think like I do with all that interchangeable stuff on your guns, I love it when you can get more out of the investment for each part. Getting a suppressor that can move from a .308win. to a 5.56 is a better deal, than for get getting one that is for just 5.56, same with the .45, it can fit on the 9mm. Always buy them big so you can move them on to the smaller guns, with the .22 being a separate one because of all the junk it produces, use it only on a .22.. You have good taste in guns, I like the looks and performance of everything you did there. 300 Bk Out has become a favorite round for me. As quiet as they can be, I still love the super sonic CQC rounds that Leigh Defense makes the best, it is the most bad ass round for self-defense out there. It blows up as big as a melon when it hits and never exits past 10 to 12 inches. Double tap that into any bad guy and you problem is over fast and that's what defense is about, fast stopping power.
