I think Blitzø thought Stolas didn't actually love him and thought it was a roleplay so he played along and when he said "Stolas yes I'll stay with you I love you sooooooo much" I think when he said "So much" like that Stolas misunderstood and thought Blitzø just thought of him as an object for $ex. And then I feel like when Blitzø realized he wasn't kidding he felt like Stolas didn't give him a minute to think about everything and process it so he started yelling at him I really think this because of the line he says "Can I get a minute to think after everything you've done to me?" And since Stolas ran out of his anti depression pills it made him react differently. I think In the next episode The Apology Tour, I think Stolas will get his pills and then he will feel bad about how he reacted and I think they will both apologize and maybe become a proper relationship.

Eeerh... no Stolas did do all of that. He came to regret it sure but... he did... He kept Blitz prisoner for the book that Blitz desperately needed. As well as made unwanted sexual approaches that Blitz clearly weren't a fan of in season 1, but put up with because he needed the book. Stolas hadn't really given Blitz ANY reasons to make him believe it was any different than that until right now. We've seen Stolas's struggles and how he feels.... Blitz has not... they never talked. And when Blitz vented out over his frustrations and basically asked Stolas to talk and give him time... Stolas shut him out. Blitz was frustrated and shocked sure, and went a little overboard, but he was actually asking if they could talk about it. And he was asking if he could have some time. Stolas shut him out immediately so yeah... Stolas was also in the wrong, he could have allowed Blitz to talk, and then be honest himself and tell Blitz why he did what he did, he thought Blitz was into it and didn't mind. But it still put them in a position where Stolas was in absolute power of the relationship. And Blitz is of course deeply insecure and doesn't actually believe anyone could ever like him, let alone love him, so he doesn't know how to deal with this and needed more time... Which is what he asked for.

He brought the whole thing on himself from the very start. The Circus episode showed us that the things we saw in season 1 are not all what they seem and that there were more layers to it. Fooling us like that was clever. It turned out that Blitz was in fact the instigator of the deal. He was the one who lead Stolas on and seduced him for the book. Stolas played into it yes and used the deal to gain his own benefits from it (fair, when you get robbed blindly), but he never used the book to FORCE Blitz into anything. For Loo Loo land he offers Blitz financial compensation to hire IMP for a bodyguard job while he could've just ordered them to do it and use the grimoire as leverage to get his way. Stolas never forced IMP to join him at the Harvest Moon festival. It was an open offer and Blitz accepted. See what I mean? Stolas can be very condescending and ignorant due to his rich upbringing but he's never been cruel or unreasonable to Blitz. That's not his style.

What I love about musical type shows and movies is that the characters are basically incapable of lying about their true feelings. They always have to sing how they really feel even if they are completely alone because it lets the audience and sometimes other characters know what’s going through the person’s heads. But in this song at 1:38 through 1:40 Blitzø is still trying to push down his feelings like he always does. Of course it doesn’t work that well considering we can still see his body language and facial expressions but the fact that he was still able to lie when he was singing and completely alone speaks volumes. He isn’t trying to convince other people he is fine, he is trying to convince himself and he probably doesn’t even realize he is doing it.

Running out of those pills that day did royally screw him over. He was off his meds during his talk with Blitzo and was thus less emotionally stable than usual. Notice how his outlook on his meeting with Blitzo immediately becomes highly pessimistic after the scene showing him out of pills. Before that scene he was all hopeful and believing giving the Blitzo the stone will set them free from their transactional relationship, after that he fixates on the anxiety that Blitz only comes to him due to the book. His pessimism led to him communicating poorly to Blitzo. Now, this may become a good thing for Stolas and Blitzo in the future, we shall see.
