Hi. I already train a lot of functional strength movements with sandbags, barbells, dumbells, and of course my own body weight. I am curious what a good size/weight of a bag would be good to get for someone who already had a good base, great core strength, etc. I know you are not supposed to go too heavy because you want to use it for endurance, but I also don't want it to be too light. Any tips? Thanks!

37 or 42 lbs would be good for you

I bought one is this is a great workout tool to have. FYI-just make sure you don't order one too heavy.
@DOUBLE0SEVUN4 жыл бұрын
What’s too heavy? I just ordered a 55 pound one. Figured I will build up the strength
@taltezy29414 жыл бұрын
@@DOUBLE0SEVUN I think depends on your strength conditioning honestly. I bought a 65 pounder and it was heavy as shit..lol! I wanted one so bad, I sent it back and got a 50 pounder instead. I'm 6'3" and 280 lbs with a judo/wrestling background. I figured in a few years I can build up to the 65 pounder. Remember its and oblong shape which makes it tough to "pick up" like you would a barbell, etc.

Ottima anche per quelli che, come me, iniziano ad essere maturi (62) e hanno poco tempo. In mezz'ora si mette insieme un buon WO

I just tried this with a heavier pillow I have and that was hard enough. I don't think I would even be able to use this bag if I bought it.

Naming your kid Ivan Ivanov is the Bulgarian equivalent to a North American kid named Richard Richardson, Will Williams, or Mike McMichaels.

How long would one of these things last? Deciding between these and a kettlebell. These look more functional than a kettlebell, but a kettlebell will last my lifetime and the liftetime of probably my kids. These (because of the dynamic nature) look like they'll wear out quickly... particularly around the handles.
@RackwitzG10 жыл бұрын
I've seen a vid somewhere in which they show one that was supposedly used everyday for 5 years which showed just alittle peeling of the leather where the thumbs grip the bag. I've been using kettlebells for a few years and don't want to miss them. A few weeks ago I built a B-Bag out of a tire innertube, since for trying out the original Bag is very expensive. So far I'm happy with what I built and am not thinking about buying the real one. Both tools are good for simultaneous strength and endurance training. KBs are quite limited to vertical movements whereas the Bag can be used horizontally and vertically. Give them both a try.

You are only limited to your imagination with kettle bell Kettlebell is strength, strength is kettlebell

"WHAT IS IN THE BAG" ? "HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH" ? THANK'S
@crazyhayn9 жыл бұрын
+Robert Abbott I've purchased one of the bags and the best I can say about the filling is it's a soft, dense material stuffed into the leather bag. They vary in weight; the one used in the video with the red straps is probably the 12kg bag.
