You won’t get friend zoned if you do it correctly. You should make it pretty obvious that you like her without just blatantly saying is. If you do it, trust me she will know, women are smart. Read how she responds, if she responds in a way that is going along with it that is a way of knowing you could maybe start being a little more direct until you get the number. If she doesn’t, move on. When you are so direct at the beginning you turn it into a numbers game, you will get rejected over and over again until you actually find a girl who won’t reject you.
