Here comes Day 1 of our first challenge of 2021!
For the first day of the Get Shredded 2-Week Challenge, we're doing everyone's favorite: HIIT.
If you're not familiar with the way you'll burn calories from HIIT workouts, please read this:
The number of calories you'll burn from this 15-minute workout will vary from person to person based on a number of factors (like age, gender, physical shape, effort, etc.). The cool thing about interval training is that you'll trigger a higher EPOC effect, which means that you'll basically tell your body to continue to burn calories during the breaks and for up to 24 hours after you complete the workout. Basically, you'll burn way more calories than you probably even realize. Nice!
I strongly recommend warming up and cooling down before and after every workout.
