You still make videos that remind me of good ol KZbin. The Pressing Reset book has been tremendous for myself and my family - I no longer spend hours a day stretching! Hoping I can make it to an Original Strength Workshop in NC in October. All the best!

That is so wonderful to hear! I’m so glad Pressing Reset and the videos have been so helpful! I’d love to see you in October. You will LOVE it if you can make it. And you’ll make some wonderful new friends.

Lovely and powerful! I have ataxia and my throat issues ( chocking, slurring etc) and incontinence issues are alleviated by breathing techniques. Thanks!

Cool stuff, Tim! Inhale and exhale through the nose?
@OriginalStrengthSystemАй бұрын
If you can, but yes especially on the inhale. If youre concerned about blasting snot out of your nose, mouth exhalations are ok in this practice.

Hey Tim, which book (or video) would you recommend for those new to OS at this point?
Could these movements help to release the psoas muscles as well? Are there other movements you might recommend to soften and release a tight psoas?
@OriginalStrengthSystemАй бұрын
Yes, especially if the psoas is tight because of the diaphragm or other inner core muscles not playing well

Thanks! Ill give it a try- your channel has been a real resource for me for a couple of years now- great content and presentation!

Hi Tim, quick question. So I'm excessively tall (2m) and when I practicing hanging on my pull up frame I have to really engage my core to lift my knees up quite a bit. Is it still beneficial to do these breathing exercises whilst hanging in such an active manner?
@OriginalStrengthSystemАй бұрын
Yes, absolutely. But it is also okay and beneficial to let your feet touch the ground and relax so that your spine can elongate - and doing the breath bursts this way too. SO, both ways are beneficial!
@lost_boyАй бұрын
@@OriginalStrengthSystem Thanks Tim, I'll do both then 😃

I do these while waiting in line at the grocery store.
