Buttonholing using the awesome Elna Supermatic Star series SU sewing machine, model 62C from the 1970s.
The buttonholes shown in this video are called 'no turn buttonholes', which, as the name suggests, buttonholes you can do without turning the fabric. There is also a way to do manual buttonholes as well but that is not covered in this video.
This video covers subjects such as setting the machine up for buttonholing, laying out of buttons, testing buttonholes, marking buttonholes and of course, using the amazing Elna SU.
