When buying a used car, remember to add to your Due Bill something along these lines "If engine light goes on within the first 1000 miles (or more), Dealer agrees to pay $$ to fix the problem or refund $$$ (certain amount of money). This could save you a lot of hassle with any used car!

Question : If i bought a car & signed my name on the front of the pink slip, but the car is going to only be in my sisters name, is it ok that my signature is on the front as the buyer but the back will only have my sisters info ? When i go turn in the pink slip for my sister, do i need to have her i.d. with me or have her present with me or can i turn it in by myself ? Thank you. Anybody knowledgeable please reply soon.

Why should I finalize my purchase price based on saying I'll finance the vehicle if I'm gonna pay cash?
@speedkar999 жыл бұрын
Dealers get kickbacks from the banks for selling a finance plan, thus they can be more flexible on the price and offer you something reasonable.
@ArthurSperotto9 жыл бұрын
speedkar99 But aren't they going to digress once I say I wanna pay cash and say something like, "oh, now that's different, we can't give you that price for cash..."
@speedkar999 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. You've already got them to agree on a lower price, therefore you know their bottom line. Walk out if you have to, to show how firm you are on price. They'll be chasing right after you :) Negotiation tactic.
@worldhello12347 жыл бұрын
"You've already got them to agree on a lower price, therefore you know their bottom line." Not necessarily. I guess it depends whether or not they can sell it to a non-deceptive customer and how flexible they can be without subsidy. :)

well the buy the cars in auctions, they may buy like 5 cars in one auction and usually resell them at 3x what they spent. But of course they have to pay for the handling of the vehicles and others peoples salaries that work for them and also bonuses and stuff like that but 10% less of the asking price is not bad, thay might have even consider it before hand and pumped the car price up.just remember that they dont have to sell it to you if you are lowballing them anyways...
