This is great! I was just at Buttonwillow, and I was on the 3rd or 4th lap through the day, hitting red temperature ranges and the car warning me to idle the car. I'll definitely be taking pointers from your efforts.

Thanks! Yeah it's been hot lately. There was another guy that had added all kinds of cooling methods but the track overheating issues were resolved only after he went to oil to air cooling. @@DailyDriverTracking wow, thanks so much for sharing that! I had been crunching the numbers for awhile, expecting to move to a ZR1 style front and a load of intercoolers. Seems this can be done simpler, and less weight added.

Thanks, 95% car though. Yeah I was hunting for that in the afternoon until I overheated the tires and never saw that number. With the corner speeds of this car it's definitely do able. It's a fine line to keep from over slowing in the corners and doing gardening in the field.

Nice. I just got a 19 manual car. Ordered the LG kit with no extras, 174 Katech thermostat, 2019 a8 larger factory radiator since the auto 18 and 19 have the bigger one that the manual didn't get, also primary and secondary cat deletes. Going to run 15w50 mobil one. And hopefully that'll keep it cool. I really like what you did with the lower tray for your trans cooler. I have an oil cooler instead of trans cooler right there from the factory so I might do the same. Any suggestions? I race in optima and had a 16 camaro ss with wheel and 315 30 18 falken rt660 tires, lower springs, and e85 and went 1:28.xx at big willow so hoping to run 1:25 in z06 on same tire. We'll see heck for all I know I'll be slower in way faster car.

Nice! Does the LG kit delete the oil to water oil cooler? For your level of driving you may need an oil to air set up if ambient temp get over 100. Have fun! I think you'll be a bit faster in the Z06!

what software did u use to capture the oil and water temps?

Data recording was done with HP Tuners MPVI2 OBD dongle connected to a HP Pro 608 G1 Professional Tablet onboard. VCM Scanner included software from HP Tuners was running on the onboard tablet recording the data. The data was saved in a .cvs file and overlaid on video using HP Tuners Race Render software on a desktop computer. So not the easiest way but fairly inexpensive. If your car has a Performance Data Recorder you can see the data using Cosworth Toolbox software after the data is recorded. The Cosworth Toolbox data tables are shown at the end of this video.
