C7 Z06 Lower Pulley DIY - How to Install Supercharger Pulley Upgrade on a 2015+ Corvette Z06

Installing a lower 15% pulley on a 2019 Z06 with an automatic transmission or a manual transmission. Damper, Pulley and Belt Part Numbers listed below.

Double check these torque specs for your safety
Starter bolts - 43 ft lbs
Tie Rod Nuts - 22 ft lbs and 115 to 125 degrees
Steering Rack Bolts - 92 ft lbs
Steering Shaft Bolt - 37 ft lbs
Idler Pulley - 43 ft lbs
Sway Bar Clamp Bolts - 37 ft lbs
Sway Bar Link - 44 ft lbs and 25 to 35 degrees
Sway Bar Bracket horizontal bolt to subframe 34 ft lbs
Sway Bar Bracket vertical bolt to frame - 81 ft lbs
ATI Damper Bolts 3/8 dia - 28 to 30 ft lbs
ATI Damper Bolts 5/16 dia - 16 to 18 ft lbs
Damper Crank Bolt - 250 ft lbs
Hood Bolts - 18 ft lbs
PART NUMBERS:
A larger 100mm idler is needed below the supercharger pulley to have the correct belt tension.

ATI 15% PULLEY - ATI916163-15

Did you get a louder wine out of the super charger ? Doing mine but can’t decide if I want to go 18% for the extra supercharger scream and sacrifice air temperatures or just do 15% and less wine . I have a few bolt ons and nx lid but still not enough sound out the blower

I had a flex fuel tune from before. The Shawn Church the tuner said I should run some logs after the pulley install. The car ran really strong with e70. Shawn estimated about 700whp but didn't run it on the dyno. The only concern was if the fueling could keep up. This 2019 comes with a ZR1 LPFP. There was no drop in fuel pressure from the 4th gear WOT runs I did.

I suppose with a Manual, you can set the parking brake and leave it in gear

Didn't get a chance to get any logs. Went off in a bad spot and the car was totaled.

40-50whp is a pretty significant gain for a few hours of work.

Actually, 40-50 whp is about as far as i would upgrade a 2015 Z06 that isn’t tracked or dragged. I do not think i would undergo this myself though because a tune is needed and i don’t have an HPC tuner.

@@knjpollard Or you can upgrade your outdated cooling system to the 2019 setup which alleviates any overheating issues by a large margin. Or go cheek coolers from LG and never worry about it again. Pop a magnuson 2650 on and your manifold temps will drop under WOT. If you want extra power you need extra cooling.

Didn't notice much of an increase in sound since the exhaust was so loud inside the car.
