It’s so rare that a would-be victim turns the tables on a murderer and are able to kill them. Heather is strong af. Not only did she save her own life and the lives of future victims but she beat a serial killer at his own game. It’s obvious this wasn’t Neal’s first time but it was thankfully his last. Heather is a hero to me and an inspiration. I hope she is okay after that horrifying experience.

I just have no words for the Gumi baby. Not only to be abandoned by your birth mother pawning you off on your sister, but to have that sister become your "mother" and she also abandons you for her other child. Poor thing never had a chance. May her soul rest peacefully wherever she is now. Also the other baby in this situation, the daughter's original baby...how could she not know it wasn't her child??? That they used Seok’s eggs and that the person who “bought” the baby backed out and we get Baby Boram. Seok’s husband claims he never saw his wife pregnant. The whole story is insane

They must have records of Soek giving birth in the maternity ward. It's not called a surrogacy if she only donates eggs. And she was too old to donate eggs, even illegally, they would have gone for a younger donor because the success rate of IVF is low. In my country the maximum age of donors is 35 years.

@@WobblesandBean a lot of KZbinrs who do videos on darker subjects tend to lack self awareness and treat the cases as if they are this week's new soap opera. I had to stop watching That Chapter because of his non-serious, joking attitude towards the horrific crimes he talked about and how his audience acted as if they were little Sherlock Holmes', poking holes and forming conspiracies in already closed cases. His audience was really starting to seem like the type to harass families of the deceased and I could not be a part of it. Overall, it's a fine like to walk as a "fan" of true crime. I've also been on the other side of it as well and have had a close friend murdered and have had people tell me he "deserved it". Glad to have someone bringing new stories to us instead of going over the same stuff dozens of other channels have gone over. There are plenty of crazy people out there. A person I used to work with told me about a girl who almost became a victim to one of these people and also got a possible serial killer caught. She had gone on a date with a guy and when she got home she ended up going to bed because for some reason she was extremely tired. She awoke to noises coming from downstairs and called the police. The police showed up and after a struggle arrested the man. When the police got upstairs to the woman they were pretty adamant about not letting her go downstairs. She eventually got downstairs and found the reason why they didn’t want her down there. The living room walls had been covered from floor to ceiling along with the floor. The coffee table was also covered and was the only thing left in the living room along with a bag of what one would assume filled with the tools he was going to use on the woman. They did a drug screen on the woman and found he had slipped something in her drink but must have not used enough or the woman was very lucky since she woke up before the man could go through with what he had planned. It’s insane there are people out there that are so sick and twisted. Be careful out there folks!

Are you wondering what the friend was covered in?

@@Keyser___Soze I have no clue what he used so I said exactly what I needed to say. The floors, wall and coffee table were covered, as in covered up so nothing would get on them and clean up would be easier. It’s not that hard to understand, nor did it require your “witty” comment. Stories like baby Barom upset me so much because those babies didn't ask to be here and those women had plenty of time to either have an abortion or maybe not put themselves in that position in the first place and yet she was still put on this earth and they had so many opportunities to get her to a family that would take care of her and they still just let her die. It's so unbelievably sad.

Great video, Cadaber! You just made a fan. On the Baby Boram story, it's true that DNA is usually accurate--unless you're dealing with a chimera. Very rarely, if a woman has two full sets of seperate DNA, that can yield very puzzling results.

That's what I thought too at first. I once heard of a case where a woman's child was revealed to be her biological niece. The woman was extremely confused, as she had given birth to her daughter. Turns out, she had absorbed her twin in the womb and the egg that became the child was actually her unborn sister's. Wild.

It always boggles my mind how people who know people (like Neal Falls) who abuse animals in general seem to just simply... avoid the abuser. I mean of course you wouldn't wanna be around such a person, but did no one ever press charges on him for animal cruelty? I sure hope they did, cause simply cutting ties with the abuser is obviously not gonna make them stop being violent and despicable. They need to be put away.
@justarandomuser8434

probably not. if he didn't hurt someone elses pet, they can't doing anything and if the police didn't decide to, then he just got off scott free. even if they, he wouldn't be put away for very long most likely, it probably wouldn't have changed anything anyway. even jail isn't gonna make someone like him stop being violent.

That dudes comments about women. When I was growing up in the 90s/ 00s, I feel like people were much less concerned with profiling entire genders, and more concerned with making genuine connections with anyone, man or woman. It seemed more geared to judge individual actions vs making blanket assumptions. I’m saddened lately because I see that we are still doing the same things that we bitched about on mtv. Hands down, it is wrong to judge someone on the actions of someone else. Not all women are dramatic and catty. And not all men are violent and pervy. I know this may seem rudimentary for some, but when I see young people today spouting the same kind of hate( pointing in many different directions), I am greatly saddened for the future of humanity. Be good to everyone you encounter, you never know when someone really needs your kindness. And anytime you decide someone deserves to have a finger wagged in their face, ask yourself if it’s something they actually believed or did, or are you deciding how to feel based on your assumptions about them?

korean name info!!! on the gumi baby case, the names are obviously all korean. almost every korean name has 3 syllables, 1 for the last name and 2 for the first name, and their names are written with the last names first, such as 김하니 (kim ha-ni). in korea they hide victims/criminal's faces and names, so that is why they were only referred to as kim, seok, and hong, amd it is possible that those are aliases given to them from the media/police. seok (석) is pronounced more like the word suck than sook. and the baby, 보람 (bo-ram), her name is pronounced bow-ram with a flipped r closer to the sound of a d. you need to place the r sound with 'am' instead of saying bor-am.

I met Heather just about 10 years, as she was the girlfriend of a good friend of mine, think they'd been together a few years on and off. I'll never forget the first night I met her, she and my friend Michael (her bf), and Michael's brother Joey were all three sorta living in a house that the city had condemned not long before that. Well, not to spend a great deal of time diving into the particulars of the situation... Michael and Joey actually had grown up in the house, where they'd been essentially raised by their uncle Paul. Paul's brother, Jeff (Michael & Joeys father) had been killed when M & J were little boys, and Paul had received custody of them. See, Jeff was shot to death one night after being ambushed by some fellows who, as I understand it, were under the impression he'd seriously ripped them off for a sizable amount of "crank"... this was back, you see, at the literal beginning of our areas (still ongoing) relationship with Methamphetamine abuse. Did I mention his young son, Michael was with him and witnessed the whole shit? So yeah, whoops, there goes any possible hope of growing up normal. Fast-forward to the night I first met Heather...Michael and Joey's house, at this point, had for years been, let's say, the 7-11 of drugs... literally one could call either Michael, Joey, or Paul anytime 24 hrs a day and essentislly locate any drug for the most part. The two predominant drugs at that point were pain pills and Methamphetamine...let's say that needle use had just begun to slowly manifest, but heroin use had mostly not quite yet appeared, to any visibly meaningful degree... this was still a good solid year or two in the future. Anyhow, I was asked to give Heather a ride down the road so that she could procure a couple of the main essential ingredients with which to facilitate the particular series of chemical reactions, that would ideally result in the manufacture of Methamphetamine. So I said sure why not, I didn't really have anything going on at the moment and was always one who was eager to help people out if asked. At the time, I was employed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment probably making like 25 dollars an hour, had a new car, probably looking about as out of place as a gorilla in a gazebo... to Heather, who said to me, "fortwynt you're just the type of guy I need in my life.", sort of demonstrating either her ìn a moment of lucidity realizing she needed out of that less-than-ideal lifestyle...or, ya know, just trying her level best to puff me up so I'll do this that and the others bidding. Thanks but no thanks... I'll end by saying this, none of us are all good or all bad... she was often nice to me, especially when I was needed to help her in her perpetual search for dope, and definitely got burned by her a couple of good times for too much money but I've gotten over that and if what she claims went down did go down precisely as she said then fuck yeah that's a great thing that likely saved lives and she got very lucky... I'd say it would be a great idea to maybe consider it as a message of caution that it's perhaps the perfect time to get her shit together if she hasn't already. Take it easy, friends.
