hahahah I bought my motorcycle and my insurance company told me I can get this for 7$/month. Now, I live in Europe (Slovenia) and I didn't know that's the same thing covered in the video. Then I googled it and figured I guess we have Vigo in our country too. Then you show the box and I see my own language in an Australian's video and realise my insurance company actually makes these ("powered by Sava"). Pretty funny.

I'd be really curious to see how this compares/works with an m.unit blue. Seems like there is some overlap, but I'm curious how much.

M.unit doesn't have any GPS or cell connection. So the overlap is basically that they both have an accelerometer - triggered alarm.

This looks fab! I have a few questions, if anyone would care to answer them, I would be most grateful. Would you happen to know what the current draw is? And also, does this come with any attachments for quick mount/dismount? For example, to use the same port as a battery optimiser. And finally, is there an on-board battery? These things have been around for a long time, so 'why didn't anyone think of it before', well many many people have and created products. The issue is they are too expensive. I spent days trying to setup a 'bait car' for people stealing catalytic converters, and to get device that can get cell service is not cheap. And old phone is tempting, but even those are not cheap anymore.

This unit may work for you but loads of us have been duped and ripped off by a company who don't answer emails, they have closed all avenues of communications such as Messenger, Facebook, Reddit, KZbin and even their phone number is not theirs .. it goes to their linked insurance company. BUYER BEWARE!!!
