Nike did sleep. Lol. They were in deep sleep. Lmao. Caitlin Clark has NOT proven anything in the WNBA yet. This is clearly about favoritism. There's no such thing as fairness...only favoritism.
@mimusic1853Ай бұрын
Oh course she's proven something, she's proven she can get other wnba players a shoe deal.
@macalloway129 күн бұрын
It's not favoritism it's business. If a'ja would make money for nike like Caitlin Clarke will they would have to give her a contract comparable to hers. You can't make the 60 percent Caucasian Americans by a'ja's shoe. Now is Caitlin more popular because her background? No doubt but that's a fan problem not a nike problem. Tell them people to stop liking athletes that look like them cuz that's what it's about

She's so big she's getting other players deals. That's why I don't get the hate, she's going to raise ya'lls salaries.

Nah...like always corporations move to controversy for sake of money...the controversial standard go to move is to pit fans against each other so each tribe will show up looking exactly like their avatar player.
@petep520728 күн бұрын
This is about marketing. Caitlin is 1000 times more a money-maker than Aja is. The attention you are seeing on the league now is because of Caitlin Clark. It is HER fanbase that will likely cause the WNBA to turn a profit for the 1st time in history. No favoritism there, my guy. Guarantee you and all the other town cries never tuned into a WNBA game before. How do I know? Because every time you people cry racism you're full of ish...so you have ZERO credibility.

I wanna see the splits…Nike steady does underhanded mess, but they know full well OUR dollar is what helped to propel them. A’ja better be earning more than Caitlin thick chin Clark especially since A’ja has already solidified herself in the league.

black people buy shoes cause they look good///are you buying AJA shoes cause she play good??? and as for the nation at large who just made tickets sales GO quadruple for FEVER games on the WNBA schedule?
@Roberto-de8xv29 күн бұрын
@@WhoadyMacThat's not how this works. Ronda Rousey at one point by far was the highest earning fighter in the UFC because she brought in viewers, sold tickets, etc. Clark is doing the same & getting other players deals. 😊

Great that A'ja got her shoe deal, but she isn't a household name, like much less accomplished Cailtin Clark. She can outsell Clark if her shoes are more stylish and functional.

The negativity and bullying towards the other player (Clark) instead of directing it at Nike is gross. Women should be coming together not starting wars with each other. Fans now saying “bullying works”? I think AW is the best of the best on the court in the WNBA, but I don’t have any interest in players who can’t show respect to other players, and go out of their way not to. Swoops to Wilson specifically saying from one 22 to another 22 in celebrating A’ja was an extra dig - can’t get more obvious than ignoring the other 22 with the shoe deal that caused this whole thing to explode. That girl doesn’t deserve this, if anything her deal gave the spotlight to the topic that helped this get done. How is she deserving of hate and bullying? Make it make sense. Half the people on twitter hating don’t even care about the W and won’t be buying either shoe. The players should be better than that and be able to come together for their league. This kind of stuff is such a turn off.

Pettist hooper lol, who is going to sell more shoes that's all that Nike cares about. Aja has been playing for a awhile and has not generated the fandom that CC has, Nike was just jumping on the hype train. I would be shocked if Aja could out sell CC. Her games and jersey are already sold out. The best looking shoe may win though.

When it comes down to it. Nike is a business and they don't owe anyone a deal. Besides being good at sports it's also being marketable. Aja Wilson is not a household name... she just not so stop it...

@@goodjobb24Ronda Rousey was the highest paid UFC athlete. Jon Jones is considered the GOAT & there are a good amount of fighter who make way more than him...marketing, selling tickets, etc., is a part of the game. Just what it is. Cam & Mase have a solid take on this.
