I would suggest you to start bench pressing regularly. It's far more conductive to bench pressing a lot. Specificity is everything in sport. Lol here comes another dude who thinks calisthenics is only about push ups and pull ups. We all have the internet do some fucking research and you'll see that, that's just the absolute basics. Those raw strength static moves such as Planche & Maltese are no joke, people underestimate and do not know how tough it is until they try it

Lol. You think all he does is push-ups?

The bench just isn’t wide enough which makes it hard for you to stabilize through your upper back but love to see the progress

Strange cause when I first tested my max bench press in the gym I couldn't even do 1 rep with 100kg, while being able to do like 70+ dips at 80 kg bodyweight. On the other hand, when I first tried weighted pull ups i did +64kg for 3 reps, with my max bodyweight pull ups being in the range of 40+.

It's because he is probably on test. His strength is crazy for not actually lifting weights and his trap to delt separation just screams gear.

Kinda crazy to bench that much without training it much, shows how great the carry over is from weighted calisthenics. He could probably bench 405 if he trained bench for awhile and learned proper technique, arching, having a wider grip, and using leg drive.

At 230 I hit 385… at 170 having not trained bench train it for like 1-2 months you’d hit 400, that’s insane strength dude
@NiquelBones3 жыл бұрын
try having a bigger arch in your back and driving with your heels, you should see an increase in strenght also consider a wider grip, most ppl are stronger with it

+ the arch allows for a safer shoulder position

Dont force shoulder impingement to ego lift. Please dont. Keep your elbows tucked and a natural bar path people.

325 at 170+ that's amazing you very strong
@AgreedBog3813 жыл бұрын
Just noticed your grip is pretty narrow, if you widen that grip some you can optimize that lift and get some bigger numbers. Your bar path rn is really long, and your activating more triceps with your current grip.

I think i know your problem Your not having your shoulder blades together and your trying to extend them and your shoulders out next time drive them back and together that way your not trying to balance the bare like in 4:16 also have a slight are in your back it will help it the right way to bench

It looks a little bit like when you lift off your shoulders unpack and your lats must get loose which will lead to instability
@pontusbulow36183 жыл бұрын
people dont understand how insane this is
@MrWarmachine33 жыл бұрын
You are definitely strong enough. Just need a little practice on setting up and stabilizing.
@MrStrongBro3 жыл бұрын
That was excellent! I know you incorporate more weights to your training, so how many times a week do you actually bench press? Do you keep your calisthenic days separate?
