The Nuggets played amazing throughout the whole playoffs and showed why they were the number one seed in the West. Nikola Jokic played out of this world during the entire playoffs and silenced some of his haters. The Miami Heat also had an amazing run in these playoffs and showed a lot of heart on their way to the Finals, they also were the only team in these playoffs to beat the Nuggets in Denver so that's something to note. I will say for the people who claims this series was boring, apologies that a real game of winning/good basketball isn't like 2K or a series where one player has to drop at least 50 ppg for his team to stay in the game but end up losing the series anyways.

I agree. I’m a Kings fan and I was so pissed when they fired Malone 24 games into the season when their win percentage had improved from the previous season. I’m a big fan of his, so I’m glad Denver didn’t display the same impatience that Sacramento did 8 or 9 years ago. Equally, your comment also can be said about the Miami Heat as they have stuck with Spoelstra despite quite frankly the lack of talent at times they’ve had post LeBron/Wade/Bosh and yet he’s been to the finals twice. Hasn’t won, but he got them there cuz he’s that good of a coach as well. This year we saw 3 or 4 good coaches get fired, most of them tenured 4 years, 1 of which won a chip 2 years ago. It’s sad. So it’s nice to see these organizations trust these coaches that were in this years finals.

To see him come from crying on the bench when they got swept by the suns to crying after the buzzer sounds of their 16th playoff win has been such an incredible story. Congratulations to Denver! No team deserved the chip more than them with their historic performances and making the plays when it matters. They were the picture of dominant consistency. I actually teared up a bit during the celebration, beautiful stuff capping off one of my favorite post seasons of all time! The storylines and performances were must see TV. Cheers to a wonderful 2022 season! This playoffs, when taken as a whole, has been the best I've ever seen and I've watched since Bird battled Magic. For sure and I'm not even a Heat or Nugs fan. For posterity: Jimmy Butler and Jokic going God mode. Booker shooting 80% for two games straight. LeBron pouring his heart out in a loss. Davis' defense. Murray's 50-40-90 SERIES like prime Kobe/Durant Stephs 50 piece Entire kings-warriors series, entire lakers/nugs series Jokic 50 point triple dozen trying to will his team to victory. Elimination Game Tatum. Hawks, Heat, Sixers all punching the Celtics in the mouth. 8 Heat upset 1 Bucks. Nugs overcoming disrespect. Harden being a great human being, inviting the shooting victim to the games and giving two truly elite turn back the clock games. A bazillion new Nuggets fans. Jokics MVP revenge tour on the league and Media. Jalen Brunsons coming out party against Heat. The young Kings pushing the former champs to 7 games putting the league on notice. Aaron Gordons coming out party as a lockdown defender against a killers row of KAT, ANT, Book, KD, LeBron, AD and Jimmy Butler and effectively locking these guys up when he's on them and getting key stops. Westbrook turning back the clock in a hopeless battle. Heats historic run. Butlers tip in. LeBrons poking the bear. Giannis iconic, "There is no failure! We are on a journey and these are the steps we take to success." Whites tip in. Celtics NEAR Historic Come Back 8th seed makes it to finals! And maybe JUST MAYBE A Nuggets Dynasty is born? Seriously these stories and performances are just... *chefs kiss*. You and I both can definitely name a better performance, a run, a series, storylines and narratives - heck even a better conference finals and finals. But I would put this playoffs up against any other years playoffs when taken as a whole and it's gotta be one of the most entertaining ever.

About a year ago I remember reading an article on the Nuggets handing the Utah Jazz a contending core and asking how they felt about it? I’m sure they feel fine. 😂

Haven't been so happy for a finals team in a while, probably since Kawhi and the Raptors. This team truly deserved it as nobody believed it them until this point

Denver is lovely in my opinion. I went in 2021 for the MLB all star game. I believe the Rocky Mountain is about 2 to 3 hrs away if I recall. The Nuggets and Rockies stadiums are very close to each other, however, the Broncos are not and did not have time to visit.
