Finally knife videos from men that actually use knives in the real world. Not someone opening a new box in a video.

Nothing wrong with Mora Knives. Got one in each of my trucks, the car, the boat and a couple just for the kitchen. I got a fair number of knives, including some really nice customs. I use one or another Mora just about every day. .

I have an old timer 3 blade folder i found in a motel room when i was a kid i have carried it every day through every dumb thing i every did its always there and ready to go when all else has been used up. 3 various length and shapes of blades are extremely handy and always sharp. Smaller folders don't get a second thought from people when you pull it for a random task in a setting not suited for my larger Osborne Benchmade. For my fixed blades I use for camping the tops brothers of bushcraft 1095 blade, it's a very well designed blade for camp tasks. And they know how to do 1095 well. My larger fixed blade is a Camillus usmc knife the toledo steel is really nice stays scary sharp even cutting through bones on birds.

Thank you!! I may have to send one to you to see what you think of them in person. I have some Dropped Hunters in the works now. Like another commenter said, I like to hear from people who actually USE their knives in the field.

@dannybrittonknives we would definitely put one to work! That 440C seems to be a really good steel but we haven't had any hands on experience with it yet.

LOL, I actually own a Trailmaster Bowie which I've never been able to imagine a use for. Carried a Randall all over the planet, and mostly found myself using the folding Gerber I carried with it. I do have a real soft spot for a 3 1/2 - 5" nicely done fixed blade drop point. Been on trips where I gutted and gilled trout, fixed grouse for the oven, and field dressed a deer all in the same day Great video! Introduce the old dog! Edit; One knife for the rest of my days? The Benchmade Barrage...

The trail master makes a great knife for camping (cutting firewood and such) We agree on the 3.5-5" blade length, very useful sized knives!

Hey gents enjoyed the content and the family lore. I do need to ask , where is the Randall Md 1 ( 8" ?) shown in the intro ? My designated hide peeler is a Feather weight 4" Drop point made of D-2 with ironwood scales made by the late Ted Dowell. My general purpose fixed blade is a Randall Mdl 1 with 5 inch O-1 blade and stacked leather handle. My pocket carry is what ever classic ( Barlow , Stockman or Trapper) strikes my mood or fancy at the moment. Lastly watch for scene steeling dogs.

Jake that owns the Randall wasn't able to make it for the video. Randall makes great knives!

I also like a large knife for hunting or camping. Currently carry a large old russell knife for skinning moose, caribou and bears, but also have ww II kabar and Cattaraugus 225 Q. As of late , I carry a spyderco police serrated blade daily because its thin and unobtrusive on my belt. Thanks for the good content. I need to get a bowie like the boys have.
