Hey, trees don't grow that way - I"ve seen barbed wire grown into a tree but not raised up in the air as the tree grows. Love the videos. We were in MT back in June and love it there - 3 trips in 18 months.

Yes, it is a common mistake to think something nailed to a tree will lift up with tree growth, but tree trunks only grow bigger in diameter.

Oh, you're right about that! It's just strange that it would be up that high on a tree.

That Yamaha is a great little scooter, its good you have it because if your car ever quit in the backwoods, it gives you an alternate way to get back to get help. You could get a "luggage Rack" from the dealer and mount behind the seat so there is a back rest for your passenger as well as a way to attach a extra bag or cooler, you have saddle bags those are great to haul your gear and jackets etc. Good choice I have been riding motorcycles since 1971 and have two road bikes at the house but rode offroad for maybe 25 years, its a good way to get way back in the woods, love that waterfall boy I sure am jealous

Trees elongate from the tips, not from the roots. Nail something to a tree at 4 feet, 50 years from now it'll still be at 4 feet. Trees just add layers (rings) everywhere but the tips.😊

Happy trails to you "sleazy riders"!!

Great bike. It was interesting your water test came out good in that stream. As a kid growing up in the mountains of Colorado we just drank out of streams and never worried about it. Then I lived in Alaska and same thing we just drank out of any small stream. That was a few years ago. I live in Idaho now and I’m pretty careful of the streams. It’s not the same as 60 years ago. Glad to see you carry a hand cannon. I even carried one in my yard in Alaska.

Good job Rick the Yamaha 200 is a good bike, I almost bought one but ended up buying a Yamaha xt250, I felt I needed more speed going from one country town to another. They are much more practical than an electric bike. The xt250 will get 80 mpg and top speed is 80mph, it will run all day long at 65mph with little effort. The 200 will also sip the fuel and very reliable. Good enjoyable video. Best wishes. Ken.

pouring water on the plague on the tree , the grave marker, to bring out the words cleaner to read the waterfall is a good place to turn blue after a shower right rick and linda? on the straps on the motocycle ramp there should be a strap from the top of your trailer in the middle to the outside of the ramp in the middle for added bounce on the offroad parts and the stop and go of the street, is the rear tire on a support or is it free floating ?cant see it in the picture. the gonagain couple completed another journey for the books, thank for the view rick and linda oh and great bike ,

“Bad Boy” you mean “Bad Influence”, now you’ve got me thinking, I need to take a look at one of those. 65 mph should keep you out of the grizzlies clutches while riding around the “Bob” (just barely😂) spent many years fly fishing (before the movie came along and changed it😕), fished a lot out your way, built my own cane rods and tie my own flies, hope you continue with it. I was on a trip to Missoula when the movie first came out so my buddy and I went to see a matinee there. There were just a few other people mostly older couples which got me to thinking, “I wonder how many of those people knew the author of the book”.

So how much weight did you have to add to the tongue of your camping trailer to offset the motor bike weight at the extreme rear of your camper. I always worry about the tongue weight to eliminate the chance of sway. I know that the longer and taller the trailer the more sway is possible and the old saying is the "Tail wags the dog." And as always a great video.
@gonagain4 ай бұрын
The axle on our 10' trailer is pretty far back. We have 2 propane tanks on the tongue that are usually full and inside the trailer we moved a 5gal jug of water to the very front along with some other heavier items.

We have a 7x12 cargo trailer, that we pull behind our camper, but it is full, so I needed a way to hall Linda’s little bike. We really enjoy your videos. We are about your age, live in Nebraska. Rick just a technical question. Why on earth dont you have off-road tyres on your cargo trailer? Yes they aren't drive wheels but the extra tread and heavier sidewalls would help with preventing sidewall damage in particular. Am not sure In the US but In Australia you can definitely get smallish off-road tyres ? That would largely eliminate one of the vulnerability factors on your travels.

To old for motorcycles, I’m 67 , eBike is all I can handle, nothings safe tho, I’d prefer 4 wheels on the ground, utv maybe? (Yes, hauling those MPG down. a motorcycle is safer than an eBike ? Hope nothing ever happens, you’re now like family.

Much better to buy that dirt bike !!! Now Linda doesn’t need to stay behind! Takes up less space than a four wheeler!! Just don’t drive it wide open!!!! lol 😂

You need a winch for cycle, pull it onto the rack

We've thought about that. We did better the last time we loaded up. Thanks for the suggestion, appreciate it.

I guess they say that you need Hand grip Guards and a Skid plate😮

Yes and that's the first two things that we installed. For being so well constructed, the TW has a very thin skid plate!

Hey Linda, can you share your cottage cheese bread recipe? Thanks!
@gonagain4 ай бұрын
Sure, here it is: 1 cup cottage cheese 1 cup self rising flour 1/2 cup shredded cheese Mix SR flour with cottage cheese using wooden spoon. When mixed, use hands to form into a ball. Use flour if too sticky on your hands. Roll dough out into rectangle, place on parchment paper. Sprinkle with the shredded cheese. Bake at 350deg. about 20-25 min. I use this just as a base recipe. I add cheese, green onions, chile or keep it plain. You can adapt or add as you want. Follow me on IG, mrsgonagain.
