There is no such thing as too much travel, anyone who tell you otherwise is a flatlander peasant. This is the way to go, we need more DH ebikes.

2017 got a Specalized Levo, 2018 got a Kenevo as a second bike. Found I went on the Kenevo more as its as comfortable going up as it is down with the suspension set right. Now a month ago the Levo got traded for a carbon Levo SL, thats another story but its a fun trail bike and it works out with the battery, but the Kenevo is the bike for the mountains.
@HeathenRides3 жыл бұрын
I ordered a kenevo or thought I did when pointing at it on the store's owner when he opened specialized website on he's phone,,it was the cheapest 2019mod it was 48000nok (Norwegian crown's) but when it arrived he had mixed them up somehow and it was ugly green/yellow neon color he knew i wouldnt be happy and told me to not be excited ,,i was shocked so he took six thousand of the price i was expecting and I got the levo for 42000 which is like 3700 English pounds or 4000 euro approximately .. it's really good at climbing specially after I added a dropper post,, i can't believe they sold these bike's without..

Great videography. Thanks. My E-Cells Super Monarch Crown is a "cargo" e-mtb, meant to haul up to 400 pounds rider weight plus cargo but not the bike weight) with its two wheel drive, 2 batteries, dual suspension and very good level of quality in its components. I got it mainly for hunting here in Nevada. Nimble it ain't at 95 pounds!

Watch the Rob Rides video where he reviews the Kenevo. His opinion is yes, he would use it for absolutely every type of riding every time.

Awesome video! I was wondering though, how much battery did you have left once you'd got to the top? Had you run flat by the time you got back down again? I've got my first eMTB on order and worry that I'll need a 2nd battery if I want to be doing any serious all day rides.

Seems quite ideal combination for an e-bike. Price isn't that shocking either, though still high.
@Tefloncoated3 жыл бұрын
I think if you in need of a long travel bike then the climbing has to be secondary but surely? I would expect a decent level of ability for an ebike regardless but who would buy this bike then try that? At least we know what to expect now anyway. Oh and well done Steve. This is why i subscribed.
@wavestherules5583 жыл бұрын
The thing about long travel forks is that the front end is really really hard to keep down when it gets to a 45 degree angle.

In New zeland. This bike cost more to buy, than a new 2022, Husqvarna 250cc motocross bike it's fucking insane! 🤯🤯
@growlith69692 жыл бұрын
It's like 7k US, that's $500 less than a Levo Comp Alloy. I love my moto bikes but so few places to ride. An e-bike however is your all access pass to literally everywhere. Totally worth the price to be able to explore so much of the world.

I was execited at the start thought you were gunna ride up forte william dam. The gearing sounds a bit high in the future 200mm e bikes with long wbase a steep sa like 78° will be normal you looked a bit like graham jarvis on those hair pins steve good to see you like riding up tech should be more of it pedalling up fire roads is just shit on any bike much rather tech steep can only just ride it stuff 😊😊😊

Anyone who says long travel hinders climbing need to check out moto trials like toni bou and extreme enduro guys like billy bolt and graham jarvis see how they feel if there bike would climb better with less suspension travel this is insaine the bicycle industry really needs to learn how to ride there still living in the dark ages
