Thanks TC for addressing my current issue! You packed a lot into this one for sure! So it's interesting, I'd been on an antibiotic for an unrelated infection just before I posted my question, and a few days after posting it I ate a burrito (with beans), and did not experience much bloating at all! And have had some lentils (1/4 cup at a time) along with alpha-gal enzyme, and no major symptoms either! I didn't mention earlier that the other thing I've been doing is taking zinc carnosine to help my gut lining. Even tho that antibiotic was not sibo specific, I think it helped reduce the archaea further so that I can tolerate small amounts of these foods along with the enzyme. So there IS progress! I will admit though I was only taking 2 HCL at most with a meal. I might try boosting it to 3 or 4. I have watched your videos on the bile component, and don't think that is my issue, so I'll report back after trialing a higher HCL regimen. Thanks for everything!
@KickItNaturally5 ай бұрын
Glad it was helpful Meg! Yeah, and that zinc also helps the body get things it needs to make HCL, so that could be helping too. But your best bet could be to go through our totally free digestion course because that will walk you through figuring out which aspects of digestion are not working correctly and what steps will help you the most. That way, you can really figure out if the bile is an issue or not. We don't even let our clients use HCL unless they are taking steps to ensure bile is flowing well. I am right there with her! It seems like for some reason I can no longer tolerate a lot of foods because I have a lot of bloating and pain in my right side of my abdomen. Not sure if it is trapped gas or if it's my liver? I'm not sure if this is what caused it, but I'm doing keto and found some keto snacks that I absolutely loved and way over did it with them! I noticed that I had a lot of pain in my right side of my abdomen, and then it was from that moment on that I almost couldn't even eat the keto substitutes for snacks! I would get the same bloating and pain so I had to stop. Then, in December I figured well, it's December, there's a lot of food, festivities etc, so I allowed myself any and all the foods I wanted and just completely overdid it knowing that I was going to start fresh January 1st. Of course I had all the pains, bloating and all of that mess, but didn't care because it was my month of eating nothing but junk food lol I honestly believe that this messed up my microbiome so bad that now I literally can't eat what I used to. Most everyone can have whatever they want, but it's like I screwed something up and now I can't have whatever I want anymore. Looking forward to watching this video in its entirety to hopefully get an answer!

Great video. I'm working on getting rid of a candida systemic overgrowth which has pretty much ruined my life. But as I've learned from your videos also improving my stomach acid and bile flow. Could you do a video on eczema and how to get it under control?

I was surprised to see that I didn't have a video talking about this yet, so I added it to my list. For now, here is a podcast episode where we talked about it some: kickitnaturally.com/acne-eczema-and-skin-issues/

How can I know what foods I'm sensitive to? I can't at all eat my favourite foods like kiwi, peach, strawberry, leafy greens, egg plant, garlic, bell pepper, ..and diary of course..

If you re-listen to the video the first things is to correct your digestion! #1. Do you have enough stomach acid?, #2. Do you have proper bile flow? TC has several videos discussing all of these issues and how to correct! Good luck!

Great video as usual! I see a lot of health influences lately stating that people with gut issues just need to eat more calories and stop focusing so much on food restriction. They say that unless you have adequate nutrition from eating enough calories, then the gut won't heal. Restrictive diets can make it tricky to get enough calories (or fuel) but is it really wise to just focus on eating enough calories while including some foods you know you don't tolerate/have a food sensitivity to? Won't you not be getting the nutrients or calories anyway from any food you can't tolerate? As someone with gut issues who needs to put on weight, find it all very confusing!

Great to hear that a lot of experts out there are still wrong. :) If it was just about the calories, people would be able to fix digestive issues by eating bags of M&Ms all day. Calorie restriction and fasting too much when your body is not set up to succeed on fasting can both cause digestive malfunctions, but this is only the problem for SOME people. There are lots of other options for things to be going wrong. But your best bet could be to go through our totally free digestion course because that will walk you through figuring out which aspects of digestion are not working correctly and what steps will help you the most. I've had SIBO for years with intermittent recovery & relapse. It's an ongoing struggle. I discovered that I also have histamine intolerance which makes food choices difficult. All of my absolute favourite foods trigger symptoms & I've had to eliminate them or end up covered in itching & hives, bloating & digestive upset. I wonder if there's something specific that makes a person crave the very thing that does their system most harm?
@KickItNaturally5 ай бұрын
Your body could just be using it to replace something it is not getting. But this video explains why sibo relapse is so common: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWbUepiva5iNpcU

Vagus nerve dysfunction is associated with both.

They do have the ability to be connected, but other factors can be at play as well.

When I eat anything my lungs get inflamed giving me breathing problems and I have extreme nausea. I have to take stinging nettle and hydrochloric acid to eat anything. However, lately that is not working I have been bedridden often and on for the last couple months. I have seen several natural doctors for last 17 years and none of them seem to be able to help me. I’ve been unable to detox due to genetic defects . Not sure what I could try to calm my food sensitivities.

Why am I not making enzymes? Leaky gut, digestive malfunction? Will I produce enzymes after fixing these issues?
@KickItNaturally2 ай бұрын
Sometimes enzymes are not being triggered due to a lack of stomach acid. sometimes they are not firing correctly due to other imbalances. so it's often about correcting malfunctions and imbalances like we teach how to do in our free digestion course.,

I'm starting to have more serious issues. been on PPI's for many many years, with prior history of alcoholism and bad diet. 8 years sober Praise God! down 70 lb from 2 years ago, learning, researching, supplements, etc. I really want to get off the Dexilant I'm still on though, but I suffer it w/o it. Already been taking many healthy supplements, including Probiotics, Bile Salts and more, but holding off on the ACV or BHC. I have pains in my liver/gallbladder area when I take even very good digestive enzymes. Any frickin idea how to go about improving this, getting off these d*mn PPI's and get past this barrier?
