one problem with All the UNITE mods is that they focus so much on improving the grip handling that it ultimately becomes impossible to drift at all. Making drift events impossible to complete and the cars just a mess to control when trying to get into any slide. it just shows that Frostbite engine built racing games can't be fixed

dunno, I had mustang boss for drifting, and it was quite enjoyable and stylish... The only minus was that it was kinda slow, so for gymkhana events I used awd skyline which also was okay

What I like the most in NFS2015 UNITE is the exhaust backfire. Not fancy like in Heat, but similar to Rivals because of the reaction. Most racing games of the last decade had disgustingly small backfire particles.

Personal opinion but I hated how they changed the handling since hot pursuit 2010 so that you basically had to drift in order to make any turn.

Same. And because of that I do not understand why so many people like HP 2010 so much. The handling is so ass, as it is in pretty much every game that came after. The cars are unresponsive as fuck and it’s impossible to make micro adjustments. The cars don’t even feel like cars

Great delivery of visual vibes, best customization of the series, yet either mediocre or disasterous in most other aspects. At some point the game became my virtual car photoshoot app and I had more fun taking photos than actually racing.

Do insult me. Its awful. Nkthing about itd customization is good. Fugly spoilers thay you have extremely limited selection off. this hedious model streaming loading with each part. Its Forza like shit. Custom Black Box designs for bodykits and spoilers was better especially in UG1, Most Wanted and ProStreet. I agree about good photomode tho. I still feel angry about how awful most of 2015 is especially after great Launch trailer and me preordering it(its first and last game i ever preordered)

The idea itself was nice in that you could change parts like splitter, canards, and lights separately, and being able to slap decals on windows was such a simple addition yet meant a lot to painters. Unfortunately they didn't bother to add more body parts in diverse styles which left a lot to be desired, especially coming from older NFS players that grew up through the golden age ending at ProStreet. Sensible and realistic parts were there, but there also were a number of options for those who wish to take other paths. Wanna go full rice? You have a wide selection of period correct dress-up bumpers and wings that look like they'd add more drag than downforce. For a game that was meant to represent the car culture and that spent tens of millions of dollars on development, very few parts could be found as either licensed or unlicensed.

I wouldn't say it's the best customization in the series personally. Best livery/vinyl editor sure, options for parts however, not so much.

I played almost all NFS games. 2015 is one of my favourites (along with Porsche Unleashed). With time I became a huge fan of the brake to drift gameplay that I used to hate.

Same. Also in 2015 you can set cars up to have really tight drift handling. It almost feels grippy. To me it feels a lot better than heat, although Payback had the best handling from the new NFS games imo.

Every time I watch 2015 video I got this impression that maybe the vanilla handling isn't that bad. Sometimes I would actually download the game, and then immediately uninstall that thing, as I was reminded why I uninstall that pile of garbage in the first place.

The thing I always hated the most in 2015 was that those supposedly turned off assists randomly activated anyway. Like you could take same corner with same car 20 times and record input for computer to repeat it every time the same as before... and 5 times of 20 you'd crash into outer wall and about 10 times into inner because game randomly decides to help you drift or remain in grip... So as a result you have only 5 out of 20 attempts where car behaves the way you want it to and expect it to...

The original hanling model for this game is focused on brake to drift, meaning you cant tune something for grip without losing the ability to turn properly and it shows in multiplayer. Everyone is drifting around a corner at 150 km/h and the car tuned for "grip" understeers into the wall at 100 km/h

Having a maximum speed of 230mph was such a dumb idea, considering how fast you can go in previous games. Sure, you could go 250mph in some cars like the RX-7 and Viper, but because of the sh*t handling, they were still unusable.

Its so nice that the modding community brings back these modern NfS games that an older player like me ( grown up with Underground and still plays MostWanted) would otherwise never touch. But even with mods there are still drawbacks, I would probably go straight for Heat with mods. ) Also I cant stand these cringy 2015 cutscenes :)

Idk about u guys but I think the drift physics in NFS2015 is the best in all NFS series in my opinion. Yes, you can lose control in high speed if you suddenly drift, but for me the drift felt so natural. But I agree to grip build is almost non-existence in the game because you'll still drift. I'm struggle to do drift chains in Payback and Heat that's why I liked the 2015 physics a lot

everyone hates on this game but low key it's the best one, the vibe is immaculate, the visuals are impeccable, the environment is perfection, y'all just can't drive ngl - the cut scenes are shitty and the story is meh, but that's not why you play a racing game, you play it to race and cruise, and enjoy the power trip. Fuck the cops lol, the whole vibe is like, lol the cops are tryna catch ME? This game is a street racering fever dream. This game is art. It's minimalistic, on purpose. It exists for one reason, the ultimate late night run street racer fantasy.

I liked the game on release, but its only because the trailer looked cool and thats the only thing i had to go on. In 2018 i ended up buying the game and i wasn't really impressed at all with the driving physics nor the cops. I liked the customization and i liked the effort that was put into giving the game a half decent atmosphere.

It's cool they are trying to fix the handling and physics, but I still don't like this game. The handling and physics are the least of this game's problems. Always online requirement, bad ai, terrible story, characters and acting that makes me want to kill myself, customization is lacking in comparison to both ug games, buggy and glitchy, terrible map design, dreadful cops, limited garage slots, you can't pause the stupid game, lifeless and boring open world, terrible soundtrack(also why is some songs restricted to certain parts of the game?)and barebones multiplayer. Look it's my opinion but this is the worst nfs game I have ever played and a game that shouldn't have been a reboot. You can have amazing visuals, but if the rest of your racing game isn't competently well designed or polished, it sucks in my opinion.

I can understand you by the Ai, Story, etc. But the customization isn't that bad. I played UG1 and I find it much more limited. Also, that acting was also present in Mw2005 And also, have you played the ps2 Undercover?

@@Otherface Even if UG1 was very limited, atleast you have car upgrades that make sense (not visual car parts), and proper tuning options that you can fine tune the way you want the car to feel, instead of a simple live tuning that only gives you limited option like adjust the steering, toggle the brake to drift and TC. Most Wanted 2005 imo had much more better acting then 2015.
