I've done my bloodwork, I've ordered my blood pressure monitor, and I plan to do regular labs to ensure things aren't getting out of hand. These conversations are shaping the way people think about bodybuilding on an individual level and I think that's where change starts. After 2,5 years of fighting she pulld the trigger not wanting to continue to live (cancer was everywhere and could 't recover- only slow down) with the chronic pain and being scared to fall over while walking. So 2,5 weeks ago we started the sedation process and she finally got her rest when she passed away two weeks ago. Stay strong Fouad and I hope your mom has peace now .

Bodybuilders passing due to steroids is similar in the way heroin users die and OD on heroin. I used to be a heavy user and lost my gf due to a heroin OD. That made me stop because I didn’t want to be the “next statistic”. Bodybuilders have to want NOT be the next one to pass away. That’s what it comes down to and how serious they take it! I’m natural, but it seems like two topics that are very similar since I’ve experienced serious drug addiction myself

If u start earlier 10 years from now u will think I should have waited till 25age and if u hop on later age u will wish u had started years ago. Also visit jordon oakley yt channel which will help u realize that lesser dosage what everybody talks about like 200-300 will not not work and that it's good that u start with500-600

Fouad I hope u know u guys all especially you are helping the young community so much, I am 18 and starting to really think about where my mental state is about how I want to live my life for the next decade as a bb or not and just being aware and surrounding myself with knowledgeable and experienced people like yourself is going to save years of people’s lives down the line. I remember a podcast a while ago iain and u guys were talking about learning things through experience and trial and error, but when it comes to the extremes I do not think even the youngest healthiest freshest guys to the sport should be experimenting with extremes if they don’t have to. Even if you are not aware just providing information and covering events such as cedrics passing and other bb’s deaths and giving you’re 2 cents on the matter only helps anyone starting to get into the sport in terms of conducting themselves over the course of their career. I seriously believe this podcast and other icons that are constantly educating are going to save many years of people’s lives down the road. I feel like the next wave of teenagers are going to be a lot more conscious about their health due to the availability of information that is available to them and if they are not then it’s their own fault because there is so much information at everyone’s disposal. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Was up Fouad, great episode as always. I am sorry to hear about your mom, I had no Idea. When My mom lost her mom she said she felt alone for the first time. I can't imagine. Make sure you get as much sleep as you can, take care man.

People forget to mention Matt Porter in the conversation about bodybuilders who passed. I’m sure there’s plenty but Matt was someone pre pandemic.

Great discussion at the end of the podcast. Thank you for being brave and honest enough to ask the question, Fouad. Be smarter and less reckless, while doing your best to stay healthy, everyone.

The last segment was important, people often say vague things (i.e. would've ran lower doses, but what is a low dose?), but hearing what you would've done different if you could go back and do it all over again is something concrete we can all work with. I'm sorry for your loss Fouad, you have my condolences.

Was walking through the park doing some cardio and just dying of laughter. Justin always drops a line in unexpectedly. And when they kept lowering his weight haha. Man I need to go see James at the King's opening tomorrow in Croydon. He is a class act and represents the sport very well. And fouad, ypu have to get Indian food when you're here. The curries are out of this world. So many great places especially towards Wembley/Harrow.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Fouad has every right to say that he needs to take a break from the podcast with everything going on yet he keeps making these episodes which we look forward to every single time. My condolences.

Hi Fouad, my mother is a renal specialist and she has always been concerned about my creatinine levels and blood pressure. I am 99% natural only ever doing one cycle recently. I reached around 240lbs at 5'11' pretty much naturally with low body fat but well over a decade to get there. Only my opinion but diet is how i approached health, low fodmap foods, and anti inflammatory foods, along with regular cardio. At 44 my blood pressure has varied little from that as a teenager. Id say advice from my mother as a teen helped me keep this in check, probably through fear to a degree. But I understand this is only a partial factor. But anti inflammatory foods along with low fodmap foods have definitely helped keep my health in check
