Guns are also Physical attacks. They’re part of the Physical attack category. Elemental attacks are part of the Magic category. In other words, this isn’t a “Physical attacks only” run, it’s a “Strike attacks only” run.

I always only took out dlc personas once I was able to fuse them so basically same rule as here, it's ridiculous that you can take out a level 85 raoul as soon as you get full access to the velvet room

I feel like the Kamoshida fight would've been more manageable if you had the Crystal of Lust (which I'm pretty sure you know gives you Diarama *really* early) Maybe it would've freed up enough turns to make it possible to steal the crown...? The miniboss guarding the third seed is pretty easy with a Dormina strategy if you cast it before he even gets to act, too. Just in case you didn't figure this out yourself after you were long past this point. :)

Fusing Slime would have been better for the Kamoshida boss fight since he not only resists physical attacks, but has Tarunda, an attack decrease moving since support skills are allowed. I used this on my first Hard playthrough, which I am doing now (and am approaching Kaneshiro's Palace as of writing this comment), and it made Kamoshida hit like a wet noodle on Joker. For Madarame, Ryuji at level 17 learns Rampage, which would have made the painting phase easier so you only have to manage the attacks from the mouth while waiting for the black paint prompt. Attack buff w/Joker (Berith) on Ryuji and let him loose.

A little late to help but Obariyon is immune to physical attacks making Kamoshida super easy since all his regular attacks are physical. Edit: Also the Jazz club teaches Charge to any party member at one point. Yusuke with charge just makes this challenge a freebie.

Quick Answer: No. Real Answer: Yes if you consider items but if you consider items then you are still breaking the rules of 'ONLY physical' thus it will still be a NO. EDIT: Wait, I don't have Royal or know much about it, is Shiki-Ouji just like, not a thing you have to fight as a mini-boss in that version??? I'm pretty sure he just skipped over it, and without items you can't kill it with only physical attacks.
