I bought the same tires, continental Extreme contact DWS 06 Plus 265 35 zr18 and I had a longer than normal break in period. manufacturer says 500 miles. I had to drive more like 1500 for them to feel good. at first dead center of the steering wheel was numb and didn't feel 100%. Now they are great! My wheels are Konig Hexaform 18x9.5 +35 and I drive a 2018 WRX

I just finished the video on my lunch break. While I had an easy morning at work, I managed to pick up my 2 extra intercooler nozzles and hose from Subaru to make it a 3 injector spray system. It will now spray the process west intercooler ENTIRELY. the 1 sprayer only hit the inlet and center, now I have full coverage.

@@Smeedia most people who don't have an intercooler sprayer can get one and DIY that shit, but when you really see where the spray lands, it's rather disappointing. So, I came up with the fix by adding 2 more nozzles and finding slightly smaller diameter hose to increase spray pressure. The process west intercooler shroud has additional ports for adding more nozzles which is the key to cooling down those IAT's in a top mount system like mine.

I do have my inner fenders mounted to the car only if that makes sense. I have 2 bands on the side and 6 plastic plastic clips on top. Bumper is on or off in less than a minute with no jacking up. If you can figure out how to secure your inner fender without the bumper helping I’ll look back through my email for the product I bought. Will take me a little while to find it but if ur not interested it’s all good I’m not gonna look.

Have you ever had a lowerd car overly bounce? I have an 04FXT I just put NEW BC (br) coilovers on (swapped out old bilsteins) It also just got new tires which i mounted and balanced myself. I installed all this over a weekend and set the ride hight to very low (4inch from ground to jack point) the car still has an odd bounce to it when driving. Even on a very flat road or driveway. Feels like I'm riding on bags with no socks. Figured you might have come across this. Whatcha think?

Daily driving is about a lot of low speed and especially low speed turns and parking. Full lock turns are common when parking. With more “meat” on the road to fill out those flares and the bigger contact patch what is the steering effort like compared to OEM 🤔 at low 🐢 speed? As for impact on fuel ⛽️ economy the dent in mpg will be insignificant compared to the future new engine that will decimate mpg but will dramatically increase smile/ mile 😊/🏎. Perhaps 🤔 the question to ask in the future should be can you daily an over 500 WHP STI 🤔?

i fucked up my rear fenders rolling them on my VA, would flares be a good idea to sorta fix this? I love the look of flares, but i was always worried as i daily my subi and 4/12th months are snow-covered and salty.

In that case I would undercoat the wheel wells if your going to flare it, find a way to retain the front fender liners as well and coat anything that is exposed metal, unless your full sending thr car into deep snow I wouldent suspect any issues

It really comes down to how hard you'll drive the car, with RA blocks only being out a few years now it's still a grey zone. People make 550+ with them and they've been going for 2 years. Others have made less and killed them. Thr best way to reliably make thr power would be a built engine

@@ObiWanStromboli bit dark outside mate, plus it’s fricken cold as it’s the heart of our winter, it’s Saturday so I’m hoping it will be sunny and warm up to a nice 11 deg Cel, think that was forecasted, so I can drop my gearbox oil out of my 6spd Suby and give her some new Motul blood she needs, maybe do the rear diff as well, hours of warmth are limited so we’ll see. hope it’s good where you are back to the future 🤘
