Beautiful advice as always. I think I've still got alot of childhood trauma because I was that rejected child. I do sit with my emotions like you suggest and it works. It helps get them out and that feels good to do. It's not easy to do and it can be messy. I've cried for 2 days straight at times. Then I feel better because I'm getting rid of what hurts and understanding why. It's like if you don't get those bad feeling emotions out, they build up even more. I'm learning that I am good enough. I'm learning to pay attention to my emotions, like if I'm triggered and then I go and find out why. Thank you Candace 🤗🤗

This is great, but what do you do when you have been hurt in the same way by the same person who you love, and then makes you over react.. this “gut” feeling or common sense that this has been done before and is happening again.. can make you act out of character..

To me feelings are physical sensations you feel in your body i.e emptiness in your stomach. Emotions are states such as Happiness or anger
