I'm genuinely surprised by how every single UK reviewer keeps saying stuff about how how surprised they are that car manufacturers are still making ICE powered vehicles, let alone V12's and such. In North America, this is mostly what we expect because our continent is too vast and varied to make EV sports cars a realistic choice, let alone an emotive one. Maybe, just maybe, the reason these ICE cars still continue to be made in the UK and Europe is because their biggest market is, in fact, North America, where real sports car still have room to live and breath as intended.

@@fikaarquitectura6509 Nonsense. I'm in marketing I name and register names of products and companies all the time. You can not own a name alone, especially since the watch and the car(s) are named after a city. I can name a breakfast cereal name it Daytona Flakes and put in the market today and there's not a godamn thing anybody can do about it. At best all they can get is a disclaimer of some sort but that's about it. Why would ferrari cede the name of a product they already own. Even if it's an IP that has entered the public domain it means anybody can use it, and anybody includes...what for it...Ferrari. Ownership requires patents, trademarks, registration of a completed logo and corporate and visual identity etc. not just a name. I hope that helps. But to be honest if they named it a Daytona and it came with special edition Daytona Rolex THAT would sweet AF. Ferrari must just come to Jesus and start acting right that's all there is to it.

A Ferrari with a V12 engine is more than just a car; it’s the embodiment of a timeless philosophy that stands against the tide of digitalization and hybrid technologies. In an era where performance is often defined by efficiency and weight reduction, Ferrari makes a bold choice in favor of emotions, prioritizing the connection between driver and machine. The V12 Ferrari is about the soul of the car. This engine represents raw power and sound that no electric or hybrid system can replicate. It may be consume more fuel, but it delivers an unmatched driving experience, where every second is filled with adrenaline and passion. Modern technology has found its place in these models, but it never overshadows what matters most - the bond with the road, created by a roaring, traditional internal combustion engine. This is a car for those who appreciate not just speed, but also heritage, passion, and the emotions that only a true V12 Ferrari can offer.

This thing just keeps growing on me.. has a really clean, sharp silhouette.. however Aston Martin's new Vanquish simply blows it out the water! Now that's a thing of beauty! 12 Cilindri definitely triumphs the Vanquish in terms of performance though even with slightly less power.. that's pretty impressive.. 0-100 in 2.9 seconds same as the 812 Superfast but thats still just INSANE for whats essentially a front engine GT!

I think this is a beautiful design, but it looks much more like a Lucid than a Ferrari. My first thought, before seeing the logo, is that this is a 2-door Lucid. Lucid clearly took design cues from the Daytona, but now they own the look of the full strip across the front. When Ferraris uses it now, it's most closely associated with Lucid, not Daytona. Looking at old Daytona models. this has only the slightest similarity.

Well James, as much as I agree with you on your summary of this new Ferrari GT, I am rather surprised by your appreciation of the engine noise. Based on your very good video, the car barely sounds like a Ferrari, let alone an NA V12. In that respect the Lamborghini Revuelto and best of all the new Aston Martin Vanquish sound far more convincing. It’s a bit of a disappointment for me, all the more so as I was lucky to drive a 365 GTB Berlinetta Daytona which this new 12 Cilindri refers to. Of course in the Seventies there were no such things as particulate filters and quietened exhausts, and the glorious V12 was fed by a battery of carburettors. But here I don’t quite get it 🤨
@CARmagazineTV4 ай бұрын
To our ears it definitely sounded great, but then the cars we compare it with - sound-wise - aren’t as common as they once were. It’s a little quieter than the 812, but it’s still a great soundtrack when you’re in it.
