I think intuitive eating can help in some cases. But personally, what helped me was the individual plan from aspect health. It's just a gem! It analyzes individual health indicators and forms a healthy diet. Highly recommend it!

We are creatures of habit. What you're used to eating is what you crave as long as you don't overeat something and burn yourself out on it. As I decreased carbs and sugar and increased protein, my carb/sugar cravings decreased and my protein cravings have increased.

Commenting at 5 : 33 ... I'm glad you put quotes around it, because "eating whatever you want" isn't intuitive eating. That's addictive eating, and maybe emotional eating (and ignorant eating). Most people don't even know what their intuition actually is. My health has invariably gotten worse when I listened to supposed experts. And didn't listen to my true intuition, which is LISTENING (not conjuring or formulating). Kind of hearing (or even just an absolute inexplicable knowing ... like to not get on that plane, etc) a higher wisdom (one's own higher consciousness) in one's mind/heart. And it often is similar to one's own thoughts. But one way to know that it's actually one's intuition, is that the information seems a bit off or foreign. Like when mine told me to "eat tuna" even though I was a vegan (decades ago). Keep in mind that we tend to, er, "worship" (hint) our masculine energy. All our rules and strictness is masculine energy (control). FREEDOM and light-heartedness is feminine energy (notice how a world that worships the masculine is insatiable to take our freedoms ... um, especially the freedom of women). INTUITION, real intuition, is feminine energy. We've been taught to hold it in contempt; at best, to not take it seriously (reference the "worship" thing), which makes our people so sick, obese and imbalanced (and is destroying our planet/nature; hint, "Mother" Earth). We need to engage BOTH sides of what we are. Masculine AND feminine. Which means we should take our intuition as seriously as the rules. Blend the two and you have less strict "guidelines." We need to embrace, cultivate and learn how to use our true intuition, to trust it. And ALL of our feminine energy (including healing our emotions/trauma). Rules are NOT superior to one's true intuition, anymore than men are superior to women (despite the manipulative/control-y lies of that old book, which has almost destroyed our world/people). Denigrating our natural (and powerful) intuition is definitely not the answer. People have to overcome so many types of addiction and fear, rooted in an ancient old book that teaches humanity that it is trash ("sinners," "nothing without god/something"=nothing). Consequently see a world of self-loathing and self-destructive ones. The answer to our questions is self-love, which very much includes our powerful/valuable feminine energy.

I’ve been keto for over five years and some weight crept back on. Now facing the holidays. But! I’ve noticed that I totally do not like what I used to. And I can turn down sweets. Yesterday I got two homemade snickerdoodles out to eat with my coffee. A few moments later, I put them back. I never would have done that five years ago. My taste buds have changed to prefer real food over highly processed carbs. It’s a process. I initially lost 30 pounds, but with friends and special days it’s slowly crept back. So that’s my issue now. How to stop that….

00:00 🚫 "Intuitive eating" may not be effective for fat loss, as many people undereat due to years of chronic dieting. 00:42 🔄 Regularly weighing oneself can increase awareness and contribute to weight loss by promoting mindful eating. 01:23 🍽 "Cut" refers to reducing calories for weight loss, while "bulk" involves increasing food intake to boost metabolism. 02:21 🔄 "Reverse dieting" is gradually increasing food intake after a cut phase to avoid metabolic slowdown. 03:58 📉 Continuous dieting can lead to a cycle of eating less, slowing metabolism, and hitting weight loss plateaus. 05:23 🔄 Advice on diet and fitness can evolve over time; gradual approaches may be more suitable for certain individuals. 06:48 🍏 Eliminating vegetable seed oils and added sugars, and incorporating red meat, can significantly improve one's diet. 07:58 🧠 "Eat intuitively" may be misleading on a standard American diet, as cravings might be driven by the brain, not the body. 09:25 🔄 For effective weight loss, a gradual increase in calories, focus on vitamins and minerals, and resistance training may be necessary. 11:46 📊 Building metabolism is crucial; a person eating 1,500 calories a day while overweight needs to gradually increase food consumption. 13:48 🔄 Long-term success involves building metabolism through cycles of bulking and cutting, not unsustainable calorie restrictions. 15:15 🍖 A carnivore diet can help heal the relationship with food, reducing cravings and promoting intuitive eating over time. 17:07 🔄 Experienced individuals may intuitively adjust their diet and exercise, but tracking can still provide valuable insights for most people. 18:18 🍽 When coaching clients on weight loss, setting specific macros and a workout plan can be more effective than relying solely on intuitive eating, especially without recorded data. 19:41 🥛 Adding raw milk to a carnivore diet during a bulk helped in gaining weight, and it turned out to be a beneficial and enjoyable addition, enhancing the bulking process. 20:54 🍏 While raw milk is nutrient-dense and beneficial for some, it may not be suitable for everyone, especially those with metabolic issues or lactose intolerance. Individual tolerance matters in incorporating dairy into the diet. 22:33 🍇 Fruit, while not directly causing diabetes, can stimulate appetite and lead to excessive sugar intake, affecting those with metabolic issues negatively. In the context of bulking for muscle gain, a glucose-based carbohydrate may be preferred over fructose found in fruit. 23:58 🥤 While consuming whole fruit is unlikely to cause fatty liver disease, excessive fruit juice and a high fructose diet, coupled with other factors like alcohol consumption, might contribute to metabolic issues. 26:02 🤔 Tracking nutritional intake, especially for essential minerals like potassium and magnesium, can be crucial. A convenient way to supplement these minerals is through a clean electrolyte drink mix. 28:54 ⚖ Regularly assessing and adjusting calorie intake is essential for maintaining or changing body composition. Tracking, even intermittently, can bring awareness to dietary habits and lead to better choices. 31:41 🔄 Reverse dieting involves gradually increasing calorie intake after a cut, allowing the body to adapt and potentially avoid rapid fat gain. It's crucial to choose nutrient-dense foods during this process. 34:16 🍨 After a diet or cut, avoiding an abrupt return to unhealthy eating habits is essential. Gradually reintroducing calories without letting the floodgates open helps maintain a balanced and sustainable approach to nutrition. 35:54 🏋 Combining resistance training with dietary changes is key to reversing metabolic damage and achieving positive body composition results. The gym plays a crucial role in the recovery process. 36:10 🏋 Resistance training is essential, especially for metabolically damaged individuals. A simple 12-minute daily band workout at home can be effective. 38:01 🏋 Exercise is not strictly necessary for weight loss, but it plays a crucial role in overall health, longevity, stress reduction, better sleep, and heart health. 39:12 🥩 A 90-day carnivore challenge helps establish a solid dietary baseline. Gradual food reintroduction allows customization based on individual tolerance. 41:46 🌱 The speaker experimented with reintroducing carbs after two years of strict carnivore but returned to carnivory due to feeling great. Future exploration into a more flexible "hyper-carnivore" approach is considered. 43:08 🥩 The decision to adopt a carnivore diet was driven by a desire for improved mental and physical well-being, rather than specific health issues. 44:18 🍽 No stance against air fryers or cast iron pans. Cooking meat in any preferred way is acceptable; minor concerns about air fryer chemicals are outweighed by more significant health factors.
@KevinStock12

Regarding: "38:01 🏋 Exercise is not strictly necessary for weight loss, but it plays a crucial role in overall health, longevity, stress reduction, better sleep, and heart health." One thing I meant to say, and I'm constantly talking about (so I'm not sure how I possibly forgot to mention it!) is that if someone tries to lose weight but foregoes resistance training, they will often lose significant muscle mass too, which will not only slow metabolic rate, but can result in a worse body composition (i.e. even though the scale drops they have a worse body fat percentage because of the muscle lost).

I am post menopause. I have been told over and over that the needs of older people are less in terms of calories. My understanding is 1600-1800 calories but maintaining 1lb minimum of protein for ideal body weight. In addition to this, 1:1 ratio for fat to protein up to 2:1 fat protein depending on health. Carbs for keto under 50 net and for carnivore only from animal sources and under 10. I have lots of weight to still use and my sleep on strict carnivore is horrible. Not sure how to fix this! But not all the time every now and again. 😂 x I also can't live without strawberries or raspberries I feel they help me GO to the toilet and are my sweet treats ☺️ I will keep eating them unless I find them to cause me pain or get more dandruff. After doing Carnivore for 6 months I started counting my macros. Didn't before because I thought it would be too difficult. But learning about it gave me so much insights! Because of that I realized eating dairy/cheese caused my weight gain. I also thought that roast beef was a fatty meat but not so much. So I ate way more protein compared to fat. So counting macros gave me this awareness and this feels really great, I am not just guessing what I eat and assume that just because its Carnivore I will automatically lose the weight. So I upped my fat intake and even after 2 days I feel less tired and more energetic 💃

If you watch the weight lifting contest channels and you see them bulk/cut, bulk/cut, bulk/cut over and over you see they end up with a eating disorder. I think bulk cutting in the weight lifting industry is dangerous. It's a yo yo diet. And, yo yo diets are dangerous. There are also many videos of people that left the weight lifting contest industry who say they had eating disorders. Lots of these contest participants end up eating sugar/junk after their contest and cut stage which is not healthy obviously. Beware of this continuous bulk/cut type of eating. it's not a healthy way of eating long term.

Def, that's a little low. You should try Lillie's method, adding on 50 calories each day for the week (1550 for a week, daily), with upping another 50 each week until you get to a good spot. I believe she said in this video women should be eating around 2000, which is a rough estimate that changes with your personal info (goal weight/sex/age/lifestyle).

People lose sight of one thing it seems, the feeling of hunger...empty stomach, stomach growling hunger. That's what mother nature has given us so we'll know when to eat. Losing fat and staying in shape and well fed is just a matter of emptying out the ol tank and feeling that hunger each time before you eat..and then of course make it healthy and moderately sized portions, no second helpngs..then just repeat the cycle. The natural mother nature way to eat imo. Takes discipline but experiencing that empty stomach feels good and you'll never be bloated from overeating again.

Have a question I’m good during the day evening time I have to work for delivery service where I’m given time because all the restaurants you know are all would be fast food I reject all those so I’ve been going to like a convenience store and just getting a couple eggs, but I’m also working out a lot because I’m preparing. I’m a runner and I’m preparing for a real hard mountain race in May And so like just two eggs don’t do it and I wanna just sit there and have like six eggs. Any suggestions? A friend told me he said you might want to look into a low-carb replacement shake, but most of the ones I looked at are all plant-based any suggestions should I just keep going because I tried to just grab a burger at one of these places one night and I said I’ll heat it up and I’ll throw away the bun and the burger was everything else but meat I think in there it was the ingredients for long, any suggestions from anybody out there would really be helpful for about a year. I’ve got to do this for some bills we have and I’m real confused of what to bring cooler and that kind of thing probably wouldn’t work. I guess I could pull in lunch meat or something but that’s garbage too. Any suggestions would be great that isn’t my issue I’m just don’t wanna take all my health and throw down the gutterwith the food, you know fast food and that kind of would sell

Hey Todd, I cook up hamburgers several times a week for myself and my husband. We have them on hand for whenever we're hungry and don't want to cook another meal. I season them really well with salt, and sometimes additional seasoning, and eat them cold out of the fridge. So, if you have a cooler, you could batch-cook hamburgers and just eat them cold while you're driving around in the evening. Hope this helps!

Have you ever heard of LMNT causing intestinal distress? When I first had it it didn’t do this. But now it cause sulfur burps, which are NASTY 🤢. I think it may be the magnesium, but I’m not sure. Intuitive eating is with the mind. But we have a food instinct. The body can tell us what to eat. Look up 'instinctive nutrition' to get some more insight into what the real way of eating for humans should be. That could be carnivore but it could also be a variation of it.

If you're already weight lifting. You need to eat more than you already are. He talked about his bulking in the video, there's a book mark for it.
