Carob Layer Cake

Hi Christine.. Happy Valentines Day! My wife (my valentine) made this cake for me today as a labor of love.. I had shared your post just as an idea for the future, but she actually bought the ingredients (except she used regular flour) and made it today! This is one delicious cake!! It's very delicate and light, and is a chocolate lover's dream! I just died and went to chocolate heaven - ha ha! Thanks again!!

Thanks Christine! How sweet of you to say!! Speaking of sweet, I just loved this carob cake. Chocolate is my downfall and this cake was no exception.. the real deal without the caffeine! Love your channel!

Can you substitute the eggs with flax eggs?

I’m going to have to try that to test it. I haven’t tried it but it seems like it might work. You may have to add a touch more leavening since the flax eggs won’t help it to rise like eggs.
