Lower body session with scheduled rest periods and reps to support hypertrophy….let’s put the work in!
Demanding a lot from the quads, glutes and hamstrings using dumbbells and bodyweight as resistance with dynamic, partial reps, isometrics and tempo to really make this an extremely challenging lower body workout!
The dumbbells I am using are 17.5kg each and I also have one heavier at 25kg for sumo squats and sumo deadlift squats!
Where I use maybe only the one dumbbell, you can absolutely use 2 depending on the weights you have!
The timer will be on throughout for 40 seconds of work, 20 seconds rest!

Hey there Ms.Caroline, u know I am a 18 year old girl who used to do workouts just to lose body weight,just to stop hearing all those critisism everyday.I used to do those 10-15 min hiit types of workout.But now I don't care about others except how my body feels,is it getting strong or not.Just started your beastmode series and seriously I can't even do a pushup fully😅😅.But still I am following your programme with so much excitement 🤩🤩hopefully someday I will also get strong as you. Until then....fighting.....✊✊✊✊

Hi Shiuly...it’s so lovely to read about how positive you now feel about exercise and that you do it for yourself not for what anyone else thinks! That is so good! For push ups try doing them with your upper body raised e.g. hands on a chair. That makes the easier. Then you can progress to doing them with your hands raised less and less e.g. a low table and before long you’ll be doing a full push up! Then you’ll never look back! Have lots of fun on your fitness journey! Matthew

Never give up becoming a better version of yourself today, than you were yesterday both physically and mentally. Allways work on yourself, no stopping, no standing in one place. I saw this comment before I started this video, I thought I’d be mentally prepared. I was absolutely not lol!!!! I collapsed after this was done. Thank you for the amazing workout! Ps. I was today years old when I did a Bulgarian split squat for the first time. I saw my Life flash before my eyes on the last set 😂😂😂

Hi everyone...who else can feel their biceps after yesterday? And today it’s lower body...it’s the only lower body session of the week so we can afford to work hard today...mind you when do we not work hard! Have a great workout everyone! Matthew PS...Hi Caroline...all finished and once again I really enjoyed this! Certainly hot and sweaty at the end..and it’s a good cardio workout too. I used either 20 kg by adding my 12 kg kettlebell to an 8 kg dumbbell or 2x8 kg for all moves. As my weights were a bit lower than yours I used my yoga block for all the lunges and the heel raise squats in the finisher! Did the 15 min RDL add on at the end just to finish off my hamstrings! Great workout again, thank you so much and have a very lovely day! Matthew

This is what I need. A lower body workout that I can use for ultra distance and Time Trials in cycling or running. This kind of training tears the muscle fibers and rebuilds stronger, more supple and dependable muscles in its place! Embrace the lower body Hypertrophy! Done all of Caroline's programs several times over, I thought iron series was my favourite however now I'm back doing beast mode I can confidently say this is my favourite! I love everything about it. Since starting with Caroline on her very first upload I have gained so much strength!! Started off with 6kg weights now today I used one 25kg weight and x2 17.5!!! Such an achievement! Not only that but I run 10k once a week and have ran in a few running events completing 3 10k runs and 2 half marathons! I'm a different person! 44kg of weight lost built serious muscle, fitter than I've ever been. Sad there have been no uploads in a while however there is more than enough content to get on with! Thank you Caroline for everything ♥️

Another brilliant leg day ... done & dusted! It burnt, burnt, burnt! But this rewarding feeling at the end of a challenging session ... it's never getting old! 🤩💫 I combined this one with 'hard working hamstrings' and Caroline's 'unwind' stretch. This was excellent! Thank you, Caroline! ✨💖✨

@@anthonycraig274 Actually he's the reason why I acknowledge how important it is to master calisthenics and bodyweight over just going for heavy lifts. I would also recommend Ivan Djuric who helped me with loosening up tight adductor muscles and my overall mobility. ATG is my fave squat. I do it everyday. Cheers!

This series is by far the hardest for me and that’s saying a lot. I usually do several workouts in one day but scaling back just a bit be these are demanding if done properly!! Whoa! Loved it

I think this BEASTMODE series is my favourite among your workouts Caroline! I really like this 4 sets structure, it makes the whole process faster for me. Also, an important thing I noted during the last few sessions I did: workouts are soo much better with doing a warmup beforehand, even though they make me a bit more "tired". But thats just an illusion. When I stopped doing them in the last few months, everything was worse. So I will do my warmups. 😌

I love the slow and controlled workouts. It gives me time to concentrate on the exercise and listen to my body if need modification. I also love the music and timer versus counting!!

I totally agree with the comments that you become the person in your mind first, then physically. And that's a secret of energy transformation. Now I look at how much my body has changed since I started and the progress is immense. As well as I used to hate leg days and now I enjoy them. And the Bulgarian lunges too!!! Now when I feel how each muscle works it is priceless experience! I also used the hardest dumbells, 11 kg each and 22 total for sumo squats. The workout was super pumping! Thank you so much ❤️

I enjoyed this so much. The fact that she did not talk the entire time or AT ALL was a game CHANGER. I have scaled back from heavy lifts and this was doable yet challenging. For reference, I am 51y/o and this was definitely doable.

27 minutes of intensity. Sumo deadlift, half rep sumo squats and static lunges burned my quads out. That finisher was a beast!

Yesterday we smashed the upper body and today we are more than prepared to hit the lower body as we keep on challenging ourselves by upping those weights. We have this Girvanators and we can do it. 💪🏾💪🏾🔥

Who would have thought 16 months on with Cx I would be using the 2 x 20kgs for the Sumos, Holds, and the RDLs and 20kg on the Bulgarians and the Lunges. So impressed how this training has really strengthened my legs. The BWs were tough especially those lunges but all done and I can say I really enjoyed the focus, pace and the weights.

Hi Caroline - Hi Everyone. I love lower body. This was intense and will feel it tomorrow (if not 11am today). Love working out with you in the gym as I can use heavier wts than i have at home. Still a long shot from yours but really feel the beast mode showcases how far we have come - I feel strong and confident in the moves and know where to push myself. One dodgy knee holds me back a little bit. But I too used my yoga block to get the depth without straining too much (see Matthew did too!). As always the music, setting and your expertise just makes for a great work out. Have a great day everyone !

Yes! I love the fact Caroline really gave it het all for this workout and it really pushes me to try harder too. Besides, I love the music particularly in this workout and I also love the variety of bodyweight exercises and the holds!

What a good one! Could definitely feel my upper body from yesterday when holding the dumbells low. Loved it and surprised at how much I've started to enjoy Bulgarians. Never ever thought I'd say that 😂 Think the hardest round was the half rep sumo squats. Not sure if it's because they were towards the end or the constant tension. Either way, another cracking lower body. Thank you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hi Nicola...I loved this one too...hot, sweaty but fun to do! Like you I could still feel my biceps from the day before when I was holding my weights! And like you I really quite enjoy doing Bulgarians now...they certainly work the quads hard and they are definitely getting easier for me! Hope you enjoy the rest of your day! Matthew

Before this workout, I thought my legs were superrr strong. I play on three different field hockey teams (two of which I am captain of), and if you know anything about field hockey, you know there is a lot of leg strength involved. However, this workout destroyed me. I can usually make it through full leg workouts no problem, but this made me SUFFER. I loved it and will continue to do this twice a week. Thank you!

When I read the synopsis this morning and saw the number of Bulgarian lunges I decided this was the day to desensitise myself to this exercise. Just get on and do it I told myself, up your weights and crack on! Did it work? 🤔🤔. Yep it did 💯✅. Caroline, thank you for this amazing workout for the lower body totally enjoyed it, I upped the weights for all the exercises proud of 15.5kg for the sumo squats and 8.8kg each hand for all the rest 👍💪🙂.

Haven't been back at the gym in a long time and forgot everything I used to do. I couldn't figure out the proper positions or think of a workout and your video popped up while I pretended to be busy as other people huffed through their workouts around me. You made my day and actually made my workout feel productive! Subscribing for the future

I'm so happy, i managed to up my dumbbells by 1.5kg each which i wasn't expecting to be capable of yet! I'm nearly ruining out of weights to use haha but this was a great lower body session :)

Absolutely loved this workout! I always struggle with Bulgarian lunges but watching the screen whilst doing them always makes them easier, it’s like i have a PT working out next to me! Can’t wait for chest and triceps tomorrow 🥰

I love your workouts! everytime i feel crushed and stronger at the same time :) i want to ask you for a favor maybe if it is possible can you make a extra 10 - 15 min calf workout/ burnout ? because i like your calf workouts so much but need something extra after a lower body session :)

I did day 6+7 this morning.. wow.. challenge! thank you very much! my body was shaking :) I have different dumbbells.. I have no idea how many kg.. some of them are lb some strange construction.. I take what I can take.. and just do! what a series! love all fresh ideas.. thank you Caroline ❤️

Loved it. This beast series feels like the whole package in many ways with repetition, tempo, unilateral, BW…so, lots of variety within a repetitive sequence. For me, this legs day was especially spot on. Most challenging were the Lunge Holds and the Static Lunges. If this one was an hour long, I would not have complained! And, yes, my back and biceps are feeling yesterday too. Still loving all the new & different music, and I don’t mean just Beast music…it’s all the music since the beginning of Epics. I would still be listening to all my old stuff if it wasn’t for Caroline (maybe her husband has a hand in that music selection too?).

I have never been this fit or strong in my entire life and I have been pushing it in ALL your workouts and when I completed this one with heavier weights I got really emotional and cried LOL as silly as it sounds you have been really motivational for me and helping me throught some thought times. I used a heavier weights but guys it wasn’t that hard , I know now that I have become a beast 🔥🔥🔥🔥 thanks my lovely coach for everything ❤️

Loved this, had to adapt the workout with one 20KG and one 16KG kettlebell but it was totally possible to do so and my muscles were shaking by the end of it. Thanks Caroline. Please come back and do more kettlebell workouts please! xx

Good morning everyone and happy leg day!! Am I the only one that’s happy when they see Bulgarian lunges are included??? So many people hate them but I love how challenging they are 😬 Anyway… thoughts on today: - could definitely feel yesterday’s back and bicep workout soreness during the first two exercises. Oof. - there was not a single exercise that I could barely do or that I really do not like so that’s a big 👍 - used my 2x5kg today instead of my 4kg and I did it! Considering how up until April this year I hadn’t worked out with dumbbells for at least 2,5 years, I am proud of how far I’ve come in just 3 months! Good luck to all of you yet to do it. Make sure to eat well and drink enough water before and after your workout 💪 let’s go

This workout will kill our lower body but our legs will definitely feel amazing after this! I have a friend doing EPIC Heat and she reached day 25 yesterday which is an emom HIIT. I did it with her and it was lots of fun! Have a great session everyone!
