Strengthen and define your muscles with this 40-minute full-body low impact workout with weights. This video uses compound weight training moves (aka strengthening exercises where you're using more than one muscle group at the same time) for an effective, functional full-body routine. It's what I call a "get the best bang for your buck" workout - we will make every second of your time count so you get the results you want. In this 40 minute workout expect to:
✅ Build lean muscles 💪
✅ Boost your metabolism (because more lean muscle mass on your body = more calorie burn during exercise AND rest!)
✅ Gain functional fitness (taking the stairs or picking up heavy grocery bags won't feel as tough)
✅ Reduce injury risk (stronger glutes + core muscles = better movement patterns and fewer chances for aches and pains).

I can't tell you how these workouts have changed my life and my mom's life and given us our mobility back this past year. I had hip surgery at 27 after years of only running and walking, and your full-body programs combined with an amazing physical therapist and God's grace have given me my body back! I even shared your videos with my mom, who was looking at scheduling a knee replacement, and she called me last month to say how this has given her life back and she no longer is planning to have surgery for the foreseeable future. She and I are truly celebrating each time we do one of these workout videos, because we both know (after having lost movement) what "a gift it is to be able to move", as you constantly remind us. I just completed this workout (semi) right knee started hurting after the third set. If you could see me now 🥵. Full sweat….I mean sparkle. That was tough. I need to work on the one when you bend down with the weight in your hand and you raise your leg up. A little wonky for me. I’ll get there!!

A few months ago I started doing this workout at least twice a week and I’ve seen a big improvement in pelvic strength. But the biggest difference I’ve seen is in my sleep. For years I’ve had pain in a spot on my right leg near my hip when I lay on my right side. It was necessary to make sure that there were no folds of sheet or pajamas in that area or it would hurt even more. About a month ago I suddenly realized that the pain was mostly gone. It can still flare up occasionally, but for the most part it’s no longer an issue. Thanks, Caroline!

Since there are not too many workouts that are osteoporosis safe I decided to give this one a try. There were a few moves that I could not do, so I subbed a different exercise . This was tough, which is great because it means it works. Thank you.

Not quite ready to do all three reps but wanted to be able to do the last part. Fast forwarded the first set, did the next two and the rest. Worked great. Will keep at it to add it all in! LOVE this one! Appreciate the bands and weights, and whole body approach. HR got plenty high! Thank you!

I used this to replace today's calendar routine...not strong enough for pilates or sculpt routines yet. Very challenging! 2 1/2 of 3 sets. I will get to three and the core work at the end! Love the challenge!! Thank you!

This was an incredibly hard low impact workout! I started with light weights and will challenge myself to work up to heavier weights. Feels so good!

Aimee, I had multiple toe surgeries last year. These workout are the best for staying on top of fitness and not losing hope. How are you feeling? Take it slow. I've resigned there are some things my toes will never be able to do, but modification is the key.

@@CarolineJordan Thanks for your reply! Since I’m in a crazy wedge shoe (had a toe fusion), I obviously couldn’t do any plank (did it on my knees), no lunging, and the single leg dead lift on that surgery foot. Other than that AMAZING! So thankful for your videos. I’ve shared them with my doctor as well as my Facebook support group who is also enduring toe fusions. I cannot wait to get back to marathon training and know your videos are helping!

@@AprilLHead Thank you so much for your encouragement- it’s exactly what I needed to hear! I had a big toe fusion in March due to multiple stress fractures through marathon training (thanks to my crazy bunion), then developed an infection within the wound nine weeks post operation, so needed another surgery. Sadly, the hardware needs to come out so another surgery is schedule within the next few months. So thankful for these videos keeping me sane! My husband is thankful, as well. 😂

love this workout, used 8lbs, good for stregnth, love lateral band workout, maybe do a cardio workout with band, doing lateral steps really works my heart....as do the quick squats.....also wish there was less chatter and talking in workouts with the ultra positive voice, maybe just alignment cues and more breath, less talk, thank you

did this for my 1st strenght workout since fracturing my toe, wow its so true this is an amazing workout, works my heart and glutes, so necsesary for me . i am fighting osteporosis at age 42, and this is low impact but so so good for bones and muscle and heart thanks again for making me work hard but smartly

Caroline, I love your workouts! I have been following your monthly calendar the past two months! I have a question about June's calendar. Sometimes I'm not sure I am following the correct workout. On June 10, it said Patreon Exclusive 50 minute full body mini band workout. Is this workout the one you are referring to? Couldn't seem to find a 50 min version. By the way, I have already seen an improvement in my strength, energy level and body tone. Thanks!!
