Team Chris all the way. There are two types o f people in this world. Those that have a disc sander, and those that need a disc sander. Also, need plans for your giant hot wire tool. That thing is amazing

Mabye go for a crisp apple scent for the haunt, it's a great fall scent that is noticeable, smells great, but is used less often than pumpkin spice. I feel like Freddy Krueger would be the best because he's very skilled with his claws and has a very dark imagination

Think I'd go with Leather Face as my pick for who would be good at carving Pumpkins. He's pretty crafty when it comes to making homemade skin masks, so it might translate well into making faces for pumpkins. or he could just wrap it with someone's face & start a new trend on Pinterest ! Awesome job on this styro pumpkins BTW! your guys' (guyses?/guys's?...the two's of youzez?) talents amaze me!👍🎃

you guys are such fun! Nice to see people having fun making stuff...and I did learn something too! Thanks a bunch and I will look for other projects:) I have also used for smaller projects the outside Spackle compound for a coating..seems to work great and has the sand texture that adds great base for rocks etc...:) Of course it is rather expensive, but all I knew about at the time...now that I have the flexible concrete stuff will give that a try, the only problem is when it cracks...which can be a problem for nature centre sets that have to be kid proof...you know how that is! Cheers!

Well, clearly Freddie would win. He would be able to carve more intricate designs with his claws. Michael Meyers could maybe do a good job, but he would be severely limited with his knife. He would mostly only be able to do straight lines. It would be a very traditional jack o lantern face. Jason 's pumpkin would just get chopped in half with his giant machete.

So we normally find our big blocks off of Craigslist either free or for sale. Or you can glue the sheet foam together with Great Stuff expanding foam to create your own blocks. Also get creative with old spa covers off of craigslist or large appliance stores that throw it away.

Great video, and thank you for sharing your expertise and great humour! I don't have the space or the materials to make these, but after seeing how much fun you both had making these, I so want to! Oh, and Dexter would carve up some interesting pumpkins, but as they'd end up in pieces inside bin bags in the sea (plus I've just remembered that was a TV series - duh), maybe Chucky with anything sharp would carve up some interestingly weird gourds. Baron Frankenstein would add bits of other flora and/or fauna and too many stalks, so he'd make some odd 'kins too. Oh, please make a Franken-pumpkin!!

We got ours off of Craigslist. I would check there first. People are either giving it away in the "Free" section or they have blocks for sale. Next I would look at online retailers. We have a local place called Foam Mart. You may have something in your area that has different available blocks. Last you can make your own by buying the 4x8 sheets and glueing (Great Stuff works the best) sections together to create the sizes you need

We got our blocks off a craigslist ad. I know you can order them online but they are a bit pricey. If you use the 4'x8' sheet foam you can cut and glue together the pieces to make blocks.
