@reginaldmolehurst459 I was recently on holiday in Greece with this car, and wow it was surprisingly good, the suspension is floaty but on turns it is flat. A little punchy off the line but not so powerful (I have a 530i as personal car) I was so impressed by the quality and audio even. I'm now considering buying the car as the mpg was genuinely 60mpg and thats from giving it some here and there , I'm currently getting 17mpg driving around heavy footed on my 530i. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. This looks gimmicky to me, I love a more classic design, this is trying too much and I don't see the point,. Either you buy a practical car, a rugged off-road car or a sports car. This one is a bit of an ugly duckling, tries to look sporty and chunky, but is neither practical, nor sporty nor an off-roader. If it was the cheapest option maybe I would understand, but I guess it's the fashion of our times. If you can only afford this car and you don't want to save up for a few more years before buying something in a more desirable class, i suggest you go for the corolla. At least that has a stick option. Why i think buying this is throwing money down the toilet: 1) it only comes in hybrid With CVT. 2 designs which are meant to fail very quickly. 2) it's like the marketing department decided installing a working navigation system was too much work so they threw in android auto. 3) the exterior went from ugly to boring. The interior will give you the same headroom problem as any affordable mid size sedan even though this is a crossover. That's why mat put this in "consider". You can tell he's holding back cause toyota provides a significant portion of vehicle for review. He reserves "avoid" for cars that are nothing but crap.

You may find this helpful. I have a 2021 1.8 model and recently achieved 90 mpg over a 24 miles journey. I thought did I see the display correctly before it went off but travelling more or less the same route since then over 22 miles (this time with a long steep hill to climb just before stopping) managed 89.3 mpg. There is knack to achieving this. If you are travelling on the level and see the road ahead incline downward even if ever so slight, take you foot of the accelerator momentarily. This will engage EV when perhaps the petrol engine would normally be running. Apart from this try to be careful with acceleration keeping it smooth and steady avoiding the power range of the rev counter ensuring to stay in the eco section as much as possible. You can also refer to the mpg indicator based on engine revs that uses a linear scale to show economy. Sometimes if your speed is sufficient on the flat you can take your foot of the accelerator for a few seconds without hardly any drop in speed but with the mpg maxed out. I wouldn't say I am a fast driver and this has a lot to do with it. What I will say is short journeys in cold conditions will have a great impact on mpg expected and at one point I have been as low as 39 but never disheartened by this as I know the average when accounting on the above figures means the return is still very much acceptable.

I have a CHR 1.8 hybrid since February 2017 and in January 2021 they will deliver the 2.0 that I have already tested and it is a crazy car. There is nothing more to say.

And he's a little bit like my grandad. Now, if you're not British, let me explain. You see; your grandad is the official dad of your dad, usually because of how reproduction in humans works

I'm in the US but I'd totally get the 2008 over this any day. The interior and exterior are way sleeker and less embarrassing. As a bonus, from studies I read along with word of mouth from a British friend of mine, french cars are at least up their in reliability with the Koreans and far above the Germans, Americans, and even some Japanese competition (I'm looking at you, Nissan and Honda).

18:10 Thanks for the honest review, I was trying to decide between this and the Corolla because I thought that the C-HR would have more trunk space.

The pricing makes sense because it has a lot more tech as standard than its direct competitors and being a Toyota it will hold its value much better,.

These real world reviews are really helpful... I've to choose between the best possible grey paint for the family car and these reviews are super. And fair play for making grey paint as interesting as possible and for pretending you'd buy a Corolla 😃

Matt if you had run around the car for the NHS you would now be , Arise Sir Matt ! I sat in the back of one of these cars and my impression is that the C-HR would definitely benefit from a panoramic sun roof (not an option) as it is a dark place to be .
