This case seems so poorly investigated. So many suspects that has been overlooked. No I am not a detective, cop or investigator. But I do know lack of when I see it. I personally have been in this families shoes not once but twice my sister 19 yrs ago and my brother 3 yrs later. Both murdered by significant others. My sister's death was solved hrs after strangled to death in front of her 2 toddler children. Brother thrown in the east river his basically not looked into as it should have been. Just pray this family gets some closure from a real detective who cares about his/her job.

They typically go on the hear say theory when solving crimes that involve black ppl, and pin it on who ever looks suspect to them.

I think they should of interviewed friends she had to see if she talked to them about anything strange going in her life. They should also be looking at her phone records to see who she last communicated with. They need to be looking at her boyfriends phone records too

My thing is if she said she would be taking the kids to her mother and text her and said she would be there why would she give someone else the kids and not notify her mother knowing she would be up waiting for her and why was they moving the kids from house to house something not right about that. Man, I can really relate to this case. I a native Chicagoan and 6 days after my 1st BDay, my mother was murdered. I am an only child. I wish I could reach out to this family and provide them some insight, from my perspective (someone that has survived and thrived in spite of this tragedy that happened to me and my family. I would love to give some perspective regarding her children. I can relate to how the probably feel. I am an adult now and I still suffer from the effects of not having my mother in my life but my extended family has always been super supportive and they always tried to fill in any gaps to make sure I felt all the love they could muster. I am a professional and married mother of 2 almost adult children. I think I am pretty well adjusted, in spite of what happened to me. People have always told me how strong and capable they think I am (but if they only knew the longing in my heart where a mother should have been). I don't even have any memories of her to comfort me just old photos and some stories I have been told. Those are the things I must hold Dear to me and cherish. No grandparents to introduce my children to... that really bothered me for many years!! BTW...my moms murder was committed by my father. No jail time to this day 48 yrs later. We have no meaningful relationship but sometime communicate. Very Sad story!

They left so much details out about the investigation. How did the boyfriend do during questioning. Did her childrens father get questioned. How did the kids get to their relative house. Did they find any DNA on her or etc... Do the family have an idea who they think might've done this, because it seems so. So sad, I feel this investigation was botched, no effort seems to be put into this🤔 I pray the family stay on top of the department and don't allow this to be swept under the rug.

@@keluvnme Yes I live in st Louis and we hear about Chicago crimes all the time. As taxpayers the citizens in the City of Chicago need to rally together and DEMAND they’re streets are protected. The same thing we need to do here in St. Louis. BLM has showed their ass buying new homes, exploiting the atrocities like Benjamin Crump and the others.. I knew they weren’t the solution tho.. But they had their moment. We (the blk communities in urban areas especially) need to stand up because there’s NO WAY there would be a large amount of unsolved murders in any other community. Unless they have a serial killer on the loose and they’ll eventually find him or pin the crimes on someone that’s helpless and without resources.. In St. Louis they have the Asian community the Mexican community the black community and the white community. For the most part we’re all separated. Redlining and blockbusting Is still VERY REAL here.. Some areas are integrated with all of the above but not many.. This is done for a reason. And ON PURPOSE. **LAST THING** We had a string of children being shot and killed a few summers ago here in St. Louis.. Well none of the cases were solved other than one. It turns out the killers were 3 white men that shot a teen down who begged for his life with his hands up.. His cousin was there but got away and ran home and got his mother. That really made the city wonder who was REALLY behind those children being murdered that summer. This was a few years back

I am from Chicago and left when I was 21 years old. One of the primary issues with Chicago is people see crimes being committed and know the perpetrators and no one reports crime unless it directly affects them or their family. This needs to stop. If you see something say something. Theres just aren't enough rational minded individuals in Chicago anymore. I'm glad I left for a better life. Thriving and successful!

You know every case involving crimes touches my heart because I know loosing someone you love is hard... Then not knowing what actually happened but as I am reading through the comments I agree with everyone i believe that it was the boyfriend.... Prayers to this family that mother is like me when I feel or sense something is wrong most of the time I am right on point, Chicago is like the killing fields the crime here is out of control. Some people just don't say nothing because they have more loyalty to the community in the no snitching for the life of me I just don't understand.. I just encourage the mother to keep on praying because GOD sit high and looks down low and see everything and will bring justice where it is needed.. This younglady knew what was going on but did not tell and feared for her life that is sad because this person that killed her she trusted them and they did the ultimate betrayal to her which is death..... It is lots of unanswered questions here and whoever investigated this case did not do a good job....

I'm deeply sorry for the family but a lot of details were missing. Details that the public needs to know. Plus, who took the children to the relative's house? Her relative or their father's relatives? Were there signs of a struggle? DNA? There's just too much missing here. This would have been better put together on the ID channel.
