Love your tutorial & have been researching ( this is my 3rd video) because I am craving homemade Fufu . I did purchase sometime back online but I prefer homemade for various reasons. I discovered that it is not a smooth process especially the cooking method ( I have arthritis & my wrists felt the pain ) so it will be helpful to mention ( sort of a disclaimer ) that to get the right results requires a lot of effort. Love the concept. Thank you for sharing.

Will try this method in Kenya,becoz we do use a different method,,(we peel ,try them under the sun till completely dry,then we grant/blend till it becomes so smooth flour, n then in to a boiling hot water we make the "ugali wa mihogo" by staring till it's ready for consumption..very sweet with stew fish,meat etc

Very good fufu. Can you or someone explain why it has to put a way in water for 3 days? WHY???
@TheProfiters10 ай бұрын
That's for fermentation, either you do that way or blend it immediately after peeling, but the fermented one is better

This species used contains cyanide unlike variants in Kenya and Ghana, hence the fermentation gets rid of the cyanide which is dangerous.
