I just looked at charter prices in Panama City, and I looked at prices in Destin, and then I looked at prices out of Venice. Honestly, there is no way I would book anywhere other than Venice, if we are only taliking price vs what I expect to hook. But, I own my own 21 foot boat, it is on a trailer, I often fish P.C. and Destin. But, I know that the ledge is only about 14-15 miles out. The guys who help buy my gas also know this too, The Tuna grounds are closest to Lousinann, Dauphin Island Al is about 30 minutes farther to the same spot.
